We have 10 years to have 50% change. Not 10 years to start. That means using 50% less of most of what you use as regular habit. Then we have 20 more years to get it to zero emissions. Zero. I live in Canada so that means the end of the tar sands. The time is now.
In the early 1980s I came up with the world's first self-funding near-zero CO2 plan, no major economy had adopted such a plan as yet. To summarize: A 10 kilometre deep lined and capped water well can convert all power stations to clean energy, a cut of 30% in CO2 emissions. A 20% cut would come from electrification of all vehicles. 41% would come from coating all buildings in Starlite. Aircraft and Ships could halve emissions by using fuel mixed with water using an ultrasonic dibber. Aircraft account for 6% of CO2, while shipping accounts for 4.5%, so another 5.25% can be saved. The total savings would then be 96.25%. Improving soil using biochar would then cut CO2 in the atmosphere by locking it in the ground. It can all be paid for by eliminating mental illness using the Kadir-Buxton Method. Biochar is an ancient invention being found by archaeologists that locks atmospheric CO2 in the soil for thousands of years, a by-product of it's soil improving function.
The entire planet has less than 5 years to get off fossil fuels & other GHG emitting energy sources (such as burning forests/wood as 'biomass') & paradigm shift to 100% clean, safe renewable energy...to keep the global means temp from rising above 1.5 degrees Celsius...becuz 2 degrees is actually unbearable. We are globally at 1 degree above now.....but Canada (where I am also) is warming at at least double that becuz we have the Arctic. Other countries are already unbearable. I'm sorry to have to tell you this. My source is Ms May (Green Party of Canada).

Actually in American inner city riots, the police don't do much arrests either.
We have 10 years to have 50% change. Not 10 years to start. That means using 50% less of most of what you use as regular habit. Then we have 20 more years to get it to zero emissions. Zero. I live in Canada so that means the end of the tar sands. The time is now.
More likely a 50% increase in 10 years, but we'll be fine.
In the early 1980s I came up with the world's first self-funding near-zero CO2 plan, no major economy had adopted such a plan as yet. To summarize:
A 10 kilometre deep lined and capped water well can convert all power stations to clean energy, a cut of 30% in CO2 emissions.
@@andykadir-buxton3294 Have you got any proof that the kadir Buxton method works?
I must admit, that "10 years untill the apacalypse" statistic you guys keep throwing around is quite compelling. But the simple fact is that people don't like change. Sure, I could reduce my meat intake, recycle all my rubbish, use public transport etc but society at large isn't going to follow so I'd be depriving myself for no reason. The only way things can change is if the government imposes change and if they do that, society (including myself) will riot. Live large and enjoy the bubble before (if) it bursts
