For me this option literally never works. It glitches out i lose money, they leave to have the baby but then they just… don’t have a baby…
Btw it literally takes the genetics of the parents so the baby can be an occult sim aswell.
I spent $1200 once for my science baby and game didn’t give me one 😂…. Took my money though!
I did that! It was a bug when they first released it and didn’t work with a certain mod (can’t remember if it was wonderful whims) tried 4 times!
I actually used this option for one of my freelance musicians who was tryna make it big. She had such a busy schedule from work to song writing, and no sim seemed to be perfect or get along well with her. But I knew she wanted a son to pass on her musical legend and family, so I did the option. I mean being a single mom adds difficulty into the list, but she already us getting royalties from her music, so I think she's gonna make it.
Omg I used it for my freelance artist/paranormal sim! I on,y did it for some points though 😂
Just beware, it can become a little glitchy after that. Had the game shut down and delete all my progress like five times after my sims had science baby twins. Also, for same-sex couples there’s now the option to edit whether sims can become pregnant or get others pregnant regardless of gender in the sim editing screen. just a useful little tip if you can’t use the science baby option.
I started to do the sims in bloom challenge but its very confusing can u do a video explaining the rules please???
I wonder what the Sim evolution would look like, having just science babies from single parents for generations, only pulling from one gene pool and one set of features. Would that not be considered cloning lol
I love this but wish they came back pregnant instead of with a baby. My queer sims missed out of the entire experience.
Agreed! I was surprised when my sim left for like an hour and came back with a baby that was already born.
You don't use mods ?
im pretty sure that there are a few mods that give you the option to choose to either get your sim pregnant or just get the baby this way:)
LittleMsSam has a mod that adds in the option for pregnancy or quick baby!
