This incident is a great learning opportunity for those who are ignorant about ADA laws and requirements. I hope she gets her pancakes too!
So do I
Ignorantia juris non excusat!! "Yes Officer, I didn't know I couldn't drive 70MPH in a school zone"!!
@@tonybrown7041 The law has been on the books since 1990!! 34 years!!
An apology and a promise to teach their employees? No they need to get sued or they'll never learn.
That was not nice that the IHOP restaurant was not very nice to that lady and her service dog. I would be so embarrassed if I worked there.
It's a very poorly ran IHOP tho
Boycott, boycott, boycott.
Midwest has always been 10 years behind. Catch up people.
Federal law which applies in all state, plus majority of the state laws themselves that also provide protection for people with service animals have been in existence for decades.
And service dog discrimination happens all the time, in pretty much every state, heck even in other countries that also have laws regarding service animals teams.
Not just the Midwest.
💔
As a society, we now can not understand why a person in a wheelchair has a dog attached to it in 2023..... some of these assholes identify as farm animals, but yet they question the validity of a service animal this lady has. We are doomed 😔
IM BEST FRIENDS WITH HER NEPHEW JUSTICE FOR MRS.Carlyle
