Thank you so much Lydia, I really really enjoyed watching you show us all how you make your collage paper’s..... I really really found this helpful and useful too, and I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up 👍 too. I’m really looking forward to seeing what you do next. Please stay safe and well too
By the way, ich liebe Deine Collage-Arbeiten. Sie sind einmalig und atemberaubend schön. Herzliche Grüsse Conny
Thank you Lydia for another thought provoking video. I have bought some empty marker pens and filled them with FW inks and this gave me some more ideas for how to use them. I really enjoy your relaxed way of teaching. Carol UK.
Hi Lydia...thank you! Question- do you just use paint colors that you are drawn to or do you have a primary palette you usually draw from when selecting and mixing colors? How do you create harmonious color in your collages? Do you work intuitively with color?
Thank you so much for this video. I love what you create and how calm and nice you explain how to do it. I always learn somethings new from your videos. You don't need to do the fast painting parts it's just so meditative to se you work. It would be great if you could make a video on how you paint on tissue paper. They tear so easily apart.🙏🙂
i am awful trouble with tissue paper in collage. it gets a lot of air trapped undereath and if you touch it it peels very easily. I would love to know whether its a tisssue paper quality issue or a technique issue xx #having awful
@@sallyinglis799 Lots of people use CARNIVAL PAPER which I believe is used in deli s in the US. Particularly well liked for creating Skins and Geli-prirnts.
I like to work standing up. My work table is the same hight as my kitchen counter. It's important to find the right hight for you. As I'm a tall person (1,82m) I need a higher working table than other ;-)
Highly talented. Always inspiring. Do publish your book of collages.
Lydia I love how you showed color transitions. Moving from one color to the next!! thanks for the tip!
I really enjoyed this. Great demonstration and explanation re transitioning of colours. Thank you for sharing
Great ideas about color bridging. Love these collage papers.
Thank you very much! It will be very usefull!
Thank You so much for sharing!!!!! I watched 3 times, taking notes and then smacked myself in the forehead and saved it!!!
Thank you Lydia! I always enjoy your videos and appreciate this so much!
I love what you do. Thanks so much for the tips and ideas!
Thank you, Lydia for sharing some great tips!
I really like the tone-in-tone coloring. It's nice to see the different looks you achieved with the watered down inks vs inks direct from the bottle.

Very helpful
Excellent !!!! Thank you .....
Bedankt
I’m going for my LTC!
What markers are you using?
Right at the beginning - you say the big tray is the same size as the shelf to make a small - choire? What did you say - about 1 minute 30? Thanks
those trays work like small drawers because they perfectly fit into my shelf. hope that makes sense 🙂
Ma'am which type of paper do you use?
Whot is thet ink in botles? I supose that you use them after acrilics. In Serbia I have no chance to apteine sprey acrilics
I used acrylic inks. you can thin your acrylic paints with medium and water to get a similar effect ;-)
Here's a question for you: Do you work standing up? How high would you say your work table is?

What is ton in ton paper
the color on the paper is ton in ton. means similar colors in different shades
In English, it translates to tone-on-tone. Lydia is using a diluted wash of colour like the paint on the scrap paper.
