well done. greetings from colorado. stoney pass is within my orbit of day trips from home. to clarify for the adv crowd, i agree with your assessment , going east not too bad but could be a bad day on a heavily loaded bike close to its suspension limits , going west 2 sections of roughly 200 yards each of very steep and loose and a dozen lesser areas that still demand skill in loose rock and a go for it attitude. youll rarely see big bikes or much other traffic between rio grande res and the turn to beartown due to the metal mashing nature and narrowness of this track. [2016 africa twin]. cheers.
I've done all those passes since I live in Colorado. Can you tell me air pressure you run on the GS when you're doing really rocky stuff like Stoney Pass? Thanks. I just got the new 1300GS, love it.
I don't think I ever dropped below 30 psi, lower than that and I'd be worried about dinging my rims and having to deal with all the fun that comes with that
I love this. Nice job on the trails and video work!
Great job. First bike video I’ve seen of stony pass. Colors were brilliant!
I did all this stuff on an old KLR. Don't think I'd want to do it on a big BMW. That's impressive.

Have you rode black bear pass?
Beautiful. What month was this?
Can't tell you the exact date but it would have been most likely early September...
@@MartinDohnal thanks! Freaking gorgeous ride.
I have the same mirrors on my GS but where did you get the little round ones inside?
AutoZone if I recall, probably $5 for both ;)
😎🤘🏼
