These ideas as just my personal views and you should always seek more information to ensure whether they are applicable / suitable to you.

As an Aussie, the tip about closing windows and curtains/blinds is a great tip. That radiant heat is shut out quite effectively. Seems like all the weather is bonkers now. You get heat waves and drought, we get tropical humidity and heavy monsoonal rain, crazy.

I have some large sheets of paper, so I cover the outside of the windows with it to keep the sun off the glass, so it doesn't turn my windows into a fricking furnace! I just wish mum would let me do it to all the other windows that face the sun.

UK owners: Be very careful if you add water not to create too much humidity. IMO a healthy T should be able to cope (for a few days only), with little or even no water. However, as soon as our UK temps drop again (hopefully only a day or 2), please remember to add water again.
I think water bowls definitely create less of a humidity spike than spraying. Especially if the surface area of the bowl is not oversized.
Personally I’d ensure the water bowl had water and not spraying anything, as spraying definitely spikes humidity seemingly almost instantly

Great advice, Matt 👌🏼 It was 32º C in my living room and 35º in bedroom last night. Absolutely vile, even with a fan going 🥵

@@TarantulaRookie Honestly it was so gross. I got home from work and gave Della a quick haircut. She's now all shaven and a much happier doggy. Had a fan on the spiders

Sorry please dont have all your doors open it is the first guard against fires and will give you extra time to exit the building in the event of a fire.
Appreciate that, but to cool a room, and with fire alarms in place - should be ok.

@@TarantulaRookie I understand what your saying but even with fire alarms keeping your doors closed will give you 30 minutes or more to exit the house, when you go to bed make sure you have clossed all down stairs internal doors it could save you and your families lives.
