Saw them live at The Haven in Orlando, they're good, get to know Sal, cool guy, bought a T-shirt to support the scene and when I have the chance I buy this album.
Type O may be gone, but A Pale Horse continues on with Type O's style to make their own sounds.
Oh damn it sounds gorgeous, total eargasm!

What do you mean? AIC following self-titled album also known as "Tripod" is very dark too (darker than Dirt imo) and also the last two songs (Get Born Again, Died) they recorded with Layne Staley are total darkside...especially Get Born Again (for me).

With the right singer and more keys, this would sound like the new Type O Negative record we never got. The singer is a deal breaker for me, but I'm happy these guys are back in the saddle making music. I may not be into it, but I respect it.
If they find a guy who had the same vocal range as Peter had they would be called out for sounding like type I negative. I don't really think that they need to change vocalist. In my eyes he's pretty good.

Sals voice fits the music. This genre is a thousand times better than that growling metal crap.
The singer was the drummer from Typo before Johnny Kelly and he’s fucking awesome!!! Sal Abrascato - sorry Sal if I spelled your last name wrong!) but seriously, Sal is a deep, talented soul!!!!

Words from the bottomles pit of hell... yeah and it will come true ... the end of the "unsaved" humans is at hand soon ... it will be worse than the worst nightmare, whoever does not accept the grace of God goes into the everlasting darkness of hell (that means the perfect absence of the Light and the LORD - do you really think that's fun?)
Why is the recording so crappy though?... Having such awful recording of the vocals is unacceptable in this day and age... You can’t all pitch in and do a proper recording? The album sounds great but it is unlistenable..
