      Bonamici Rearsets are a great option! We have several sets of Bonamici Rearsets on bikes here in the shop.

    Nice explanation. Both rear sets look great but those Gilles look extra special.

      Those Gilles MUE2 rearsets are definitely another level. The milling and finish on the Gilles rearsets are really nice.

    the foot pegs dont fold?

      Race footpegs are fixed. That is correct.
      Bonamici folding footpegs can be ordered as an accessory if you prefer to add that to your setup.

    Do the adjustable rear sets help with taller riders? I’m 6ft2 225lbs and I’m struggling getting into a comfortable position on my zx6r and a few people have suggested these but I’m curious how much of a difference it would make?

      A combination of more adjustable rearsets and perhaps a different or customized seat will give you more room for your legs. Unfortunately, at the end of the day, sport bikes are small machines.
      That said, I just got back from a track day with the boys and many of them are above 6' and around that weight or more. They are mostly on slightly larger bikes (S/M 1000 RR, Panigale V4 R, etc). But every one of them are running adjustable rearsets to get them more comfortable as they can be when on track.

    Is there any danger in scraping a non-folding fix peg like you did on your RSV4 leaned over on a turn?

    • @skwidvids
      @skwidvids 9 месяцев назад +1

      The chances of you scraping peg after installing rearsets is pretty slim. If you did scrape, you’d be carrying a lot of lean angle or the shock is compressing quite a bit. Even if you did scrape, nothing bad results. Just a less pretty foot peg.

      100% what Skwid said!

      Another benefit of non-folding pegs is that they will act as another level of frame slider.

    How tall are you? Thanks

      I am 5'10" with about a 31" inseam. Everyone is shaped differently, so that is the benefit of rearsets. You can dial in your perfect foot and lever position.
