While adding a server icon is fairly simple, there are a few factors to consider to make sure it’s working properly. This video will walk you through the process of uploading a server icon with Apex Hosting.

Thank you for this informative video! I made sure I followed every step in the video, double-checked multiple times, and watched the "Common Issues" portion of this video through to make sure I wasn't missing anything, but the server icon still seems to not be showing up. It's correctly sized, formatted, named "server-icon.png" and uploaded to the server files, but somehow does not work anyway. What might be the reason for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
check in FTP is it named server-icon2.png? because it renames it on start for some reason for me
What photo editor thing we're you using?
The very first program show was Photoshop, however, you can use the simple image resizer website to alter the image to the proper dimensions.

We don't have caps on slots, however, you will find that the amount of players that can be supported depends on your server version and RAM. For example, a paper server on 4GB could support upwards of around 40+ players, but a 4GB Skyfactory 4 server might only support 5-10 players since most of the memory is eaten up by the mods.

In theory yes as the image format PNG supports this.

Hi there, what did you name the file when you were trying to assign the icon?
it worked but its all pixelated
You may need to use a higher resoltuion image prior to resizing it to avoid this.

Hey there, check the image that you're trying to use on the server. If you followed the steps it's likely that the image isn't 64x64 pixels in size.
