I cannot describe how much your teachings have helped me find my mix and me being able to hit those super low notes on the songs that jump octaves!

Hey! Perhaps I'll do one just on that in the future! Lots of my song tutorials touch on it in various ways though!

Hi Janet! Thank you for your encouragement! I followed a plan called "Bright Line Eating" to help lose the weight!

My problem is jumping from a higher note to a low note and bringing the larynx down, in songs like To make you Feel my Love. I am a very high soprano. Oh, I see that you actually say just to drop it off. Will try.

Actually it seems to work. I never managed to make them sound right and my singing teacher kept going on about singing the low note without dropping the larynx but I could never do that

Yes the dropping off works well for low notes!

@@worshipvocalist Many thanks for your answer........... I am a classical crossover singer but I suppose that it is the same thing. Anyway, being crossover means that I can stray from the classical way of singing without a problem. Thanks for all your wonderful advice. Just discovered your channel.

Bass here. I have the opposite problem. I've never had a problem getting good sounding low notes, but getting high notes to come out is my challenge. I can't get them out consistently, and when I do, it doesn't sound good and I keep voice cracking. Any tips?

Hey! For sure - this is a common issue for many singers! The important thing is to develop your head voice - the goal is ultimately to mix it with our chest voice to get a fuller tone, but head voice needs to be developed in order to hit higher notes!
