I hope they skip a year again with Assassin's Creed, the extra year is really noticeable. All the little details like these make it so cool and makes it worth exploring.

Every game AC took a year off. Origins isn't the only AC game being made. Normally another AC game would've released this year, but now that Origins released it gave another dev team an extra year to work on their AC game.
And since Bayek is getting a trilogy it makes me excited to see the future of the AC games
The hallucinations/mirages are pretty crazy. I even saw Anubis after the burning bush!

The one with the wall of the north actually has a deeper thought. If you go to the map and look at the north there actually is a wall. And a fact that makes this even funnier, is, that you can read a note on the wall that says that it must be more exciting to work at the military point.
When you view the info for the "predator arrow", you follow the arrow into the red-shirt's knee. Not a headshot, not a bodyshot, the knee. Poor guy, he could have been an adventurer...
...like you, before he took an arrow to the knee.
That's more what easter eggs mean... not "oh you get this sword as a quest reward later in the game, and you can buy a unicorn from the ubisoftstore!.... but don't tell anyone, it's totally a secret!"
It’s not really a secret or easter egg if you have to purchase it, just saying
You left this out. While playing the game I found a Final Fantasy reference. In Saqqara Nome you can find a mission call “gift from the gods.” If you complete the puzzle a Final Fantasy character will come out and do some crazy stuff and fly off on a mechanical dragon. After that Bayek gets a legendary sword, shield, and Chocobo camel mount.
That quest wasn't out when this video was made. Lol that quest wouldn't even fit in this video. This video is about easter eggs, and secrets. Ubisoft literally made multiple public announcements about releasing the "Gift From the Gods" quest, so everyone knew it was coming.

that was bahamut and ardyn from FFXV, and they made a collab. They have assassin festival in FFXV and you got Bayek's costume

I found a rare spear in the game called Needle and it’s description reads “stick em with the pointy end”. Seems to me a reference to Arya Stark’s blade from Game of Thrones.

5:13 to save you guys some time, not only do you have to complete all 12 align the stars, you ALSO have to collect 50 silica, that can be found in the tombs you explorer. The Silica is what gets you that outfit inside the vault. The align the stars only opens that vault
You were able to pet cats (and dogs. And feed pigs and chickens and cows and turkeys) in AC 3, 4, and Rogue. It's more of a feature than an Easter Egg at the point.

My favorite Easter egg is Bayeks blade. Aya says it was used to kill Xerxes. Long time fans will remember from the sanctuary in ACII that it was the first recorded use of the hidden blade. Bayek also has a string around his finger to activate the blade, before Altair modified it.
The special armor looks like Darth Revan from star wars the old republic.

When trying to align the Apis constellation, you can hear Khemu asking Bayek "what is best in life?". After Bayek's explanation, Khemu says that a friend of his (canot remember his name) says "to crush your enemies and hear the lamentation of the women". Bayek answers "we are Medjay, not barbarians". An obvious reference to Conan The Barbarian.

I found an Easter egg at a temple near the first pyramids. There's a tomb with hieroglyphics represent two characters from FFXV. Now, I'm pretty sure there are greater secrets hidden within the tomb. One of the pillars in front of it contains a strange blue crystal that can be seen using camera mode. Anyone who's good at piecing things out and would like to cooperate on this, let me know!
The Watchdogs and A.C. universe absolutely take place in the same canon. There are other Ubisoft games that do as well.

It's possible to light tomb torches and other light sources with your hand torch by equipping the torch and standing next to the other torches and fire pits to light them. Similar to the cat petting animation.

Quick tip for doing so, you need to explore a bunch of other tombs to collect little orange orbs to unlock the armor.
Yeah, about that. For you to unlock the armor, you have to collect 50 SILICA FROM OTHER TOMBS. AND SILICA IS PRETTY UNCOMMON. SO GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.
All of these made me smile and each time i see gameplay of this game i am surprised by new features, effects, physics, mechanics and i feel myself playing through this for hours. Might pick it up!

There’s an Easter Egg that references the Mummy in Dodjer’s pyramid. (Don’t know if I spelled that right). It’s the only “step” pyramid that you can enter. Imhotep was the name of Mummy in the film but he was actually loosely based on an actual Egyptian priest. He was also an architect, a healer, an alchemist, philosopher, and knew many other trades. He built many of the first pyramids which were the step pyramids that you see near the Great Pyramids he also built the Tomb of Dodjer which is the 3 layered pyramid that’s more further out. While exploring, you can find old papyri that reference Imhotep and what his progress was at the time he built that particular structure. There’s also a burial site in where Imhotep was said to be buried but the sarcophagus is opened and empty.
In watch dogs there are many people with "Works for Abstergo" ID's in the profiler, it was confirmed a long time ago?

Honestly, if Ubi wants to keep up their yearly release schedule while also maintaining quality, they should just alternate AC and Watch_Dogs titles. The most recent entries in both franchises were huge improvements over their predecessors, and since they've established that the respective universes are one and the same, they could even start telling a much grander, franchise-spanning epic than having two "connected" but isolated franchises.

"The wall to the North" could be a reference to both the real-word Hadrian's Wall and the Wall from ASoIaF, since the Wall is heavily inspired by Hadrian's Wall.

The fire that appears in the middle of the deserts is one of the middle-Eastern myths called ( nar alrakib) or in English ( the rider's fire 🔥) the myth say's it's devil lives in the desert that appears to the traveler trying to make him get lost and eventually eating him they say that this devil if you show fear from him it will come closer and closer and if you don't it will run off, I have played the game and noticed this thing I was running after the fire and in the end it I heard a Girl laughing, than I said since the director is arabian originally maby he used the myth as easter egg

I kinda figured they were in the same universe when you could walk into an Skyscraper owned by Abstergo in the first watch dogs. It had TVs showing ads and the Abstergo logo all over the inside of the building. Also in Farcry 3 there was that DLC mission where you went into an underground testing facility(or something similar), if you looked around you could find folders with the Abstergo logos on them.

Dex Peck Yes, you can. Although you are given a warning on the first one about how cats are 'sacred beings' and that's they should be 'protected', and once you kill a third one you will die.
One of my favorite hallucinations in ACO is only triggered when you're on horse back. If you travel through the desert on horse back for long enough, a random, sparkling person will join you and ride on the back of the horse behind you.
would just like to add that to get the armor you will also need 50 silica as well to get it, after doing all 12 star alignments, you can get the silica from tombs they glow yellow so are easily seen (just like carbon crystal that can usually be found in forts and things like that).

I wouldn’t really call it an easter egg but i think its pretty cool, the game’s subtitle is Origins and it actually pays homage to the legit origins of the assassins creed franchise, as a lot of people already know Assassins creed started off as a Prince of Persia game where you didnt play as the prince but as his protector/his bodyguard which was obviously eventually scrapped but what is Bayek in this game? A Medjay, who were a real group of people once tasked with protecting the Pharaoh
there’s quite a lot of references to subject 17 too and altair and the fact that you see how the ceremony for committing to the brotherhood was formed, sacrificing the ring finger its all paying homage to the series’s “origins” and i love it 😊
So I have a theory that the "messenger in those weird precursor cutscenes like the one where you get the Isu armor, is Desmond Miles. While the voice is similar for one, he says "I'm talking to a lesser version of myself to do what I couldn't" or something like that. I believe this is Desmond trying to contact Layla through the animus to warn her, since in all of these scenes he wants you about "the next chapter" and that it can't be stopped, also he was once in a very similar position Layla is in now. Anyway, that's my theory.
I personally hope that Desmond is alive because you see some signs of the apple of Eden in the cutscene with the obstergo guards taking his body away so maybe he cloned himself fooling everyone and maybe his is in hiding probably not but hey that's just a theory a game theory and CUT

Mark Irwin It's when you play as the Abstergo employee, if you haven't done it, there are computers where you can hack and get some information out of those computers, which some are very cool. And a lot of the info you can get is a successive audio messages from Desmond to his father but that's before he died.

Whenever I see bayek start walking funny or wiping his sweat or his vision getting blurry, I go to a place or city with water and make him get refreshed

There’s also a prince of Persia outfit, and the hidden ones lair’s layout is a throwback-or forward- to the ones you use in AC1
The "wall to the north" one just mentions the guard post on a wall north of the south barracks. The funny tid bit is that the north post also has a note saying it's boring and that the barracks to the South have to be more interesting.
A version of the original "Ezio's Family" track from AC 2 is used in some cutscenes

There is another easter egg or at least I think it is. There's one of those bounty hunters out of the 10 you must kill named 'The Iron Bull' thing is in Dragon Age Inquisition there is a character called 'The Iron Bull'. Reference to another RPG game perhaps?
There’s these guys on Rome who follows The Order of The Ancients, giving speech about how the order is born from a realization and that sort of thing. The way that the speech was arranged specifically made me believe that this is a reference to the speech that Haytham gave to his son ; Connor during their fight in AC3. And also on the bonus mission “Ambush at Sea”, the storyteller told Bayek something very similar, on the same line and same in definition as in Altaïr’s famous words : “Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted”. Hope this helps!
I wish there was a little more story but it was awesome and a.c. is taking a step in the right direction to keep fans attracted they need to keep this formula can't wait for the next
My favorite Easter egg is in the desheret desert just west of the Seth-Anat tomb is a spot where you can go at night and Bayek will glow blue and white when standing in the correct spot.
This was so helpful I seen the floating rug so I followed it it disappeared at first so I went back to where I first seen it and it took me nowhere til I seen a tree on fire, i went up to it and the tree disappeared before I got to close to it

Just started playing the game; in reference to #9 the note about the wall, there is a guard post at a wall slightly north or the depot, there’s a note there saying the same thing about it being boring at the wall and they bet the depot is so much more exciting
Number eight was a reference to Skyrim when the guards say “ My brother is off fighting dragons. And what do I get?, guard duty!”.
Desmond is mentioned in the cinematic of the voice in the tomb that tells about him stopping sun flares or something and saving the world.
I am loving this game so far. :D
