The notion that the Russians and Chinese don't get along is a western misconception. For the past 5 years Putin and Xi have on numerous occasions said how strong their relationship is. Perfect example is the binding defence agreement with North Korea. The Chinese would never allow that to happen if the relationship was bad. Also the stronger relationship between Vietnam and Russia also would not occur without China's nod. Both China and Russia understand that they must stay united against Western aggressive behaviour, as well as strength in being the pillars of BRICS.
Your other point about options is also somewhat dubious, Russia is a key BRICS partner and has a very strong relationship with India. That relationship is the key for China. China needs Russia just as much Russia needs China.

Both know what the West aka the Anglo-Saxons have in the fold for them once they abandon the other. Not going to happen. These people in D.C. act in the geostrategic tradition of Halford MacKinder (U.S. interpret Z. Brezinski) but evidently did not think this through because by their actions led to that Eurasian Bloc (BRICS) the "Sea Peoples" should seek to prevent by securing sealanes and bridgeheads (e.g. Ukraine and Georgia). But hey, Sweden and(!) Finland joined NATO, bringing in 30.000 troops each (they have some significant reserves still) but at the price of BRICS becoming a much more coherent bloc. Sheer stupidity.

Ideally what they want is what they agreed to in 1992 as a condition of allowing the reunification of German when GW Bush agreed that NATO wouldn't expand one inch toward the Russian borders. Honour youe agreements and all this bloodshed goes away.

Here is the most important thing about Oreshnik: It makes nukes obsolete.
Nukes cannot be used: The collateral and environmental damage is too great. The fallout alone will ultimately destroy the power that launches the nukes, even if there is no retaliation. Oreshnik produces no significant collateral and environmental damage, yet it has the power of a low-level nuke. It can be used. It comes down like a lightning bolt, destroying the military asset and nothing else.

I don't think many people understand what happened on 21 of November In Dnipro.
FOR Those who can't think two steps ahead, I will tell them.
The Oreshnik (hazelnut) has just cancelled the future US - China war in the next decade.
The Americans will now come to conclusion, it is too risky to start any direct confrontation with China.
And their window of such a war in my opinion was up to 2 years max from now . After that, China will get too strong.
But The Oreshnik made that 2y window into 5 months.
So the plan of 20+ years of planning, encircling China and stopping it's economic development by military means will have to be abandoned.
It is clear to me. Oreshnik is probably the biggest peace maker, but majority of people are not noticing that.
But it will take many years for the historians to reach same conclusion.

Very good analysis. The only 3 things I would add :
    - Oreshnik can be launched from a mobile platform - this makes them even more lethal.
    - Russian AD systems are also ground breaking in particular the S500, S400 and Pantsir systems.
    - the hypersonic glide vehicles on these game changing Russian weapons systems are manoeuverable, ie they don't travel on a ballistic trajectory.
The only hypersonic missiles the West possess can only travel on a ballistic arc, making them easy to detect from launch & highly vulnerable to Russia's game changing defence systems eg the S500.
In short, the Russians are decades ahead. Why has the West has fallen so far behind? Apart from a lazy & corrupt military industrial sector, it's the lack of STEM in the US education system , in particular math and physics, that is the problem. The Russians, Chinese & Iranians are way, way ahead in STEM and have been for years, hence their ability to produce the genius behind these incredible weapons.

I disagree that NATO was formed as defensive alliance. The Warsaw Pact was formed as response to NATO as a defensive. Nobody ever attacked Europe to have defensive alliance. It was always them that attacked another. NATO was formed in mind of attacking at that time Soviet Union. That was their ultimate goal.
When Putin asked if they would join NATO they were shocked, it was out of question for them. Everybody in the world now thinks of them as being a terrorist organization the biggest that world has seen.

Russia will not agree to a "frozen conflict", “cease fire”, or any other such USnato nonsense. There is no reason for them to settle for anything less than what they have stated as their goals since they concluded (April-May 2022) that they had to fight a "real" war.
    1) Annexation of all of Ukraine east of the Dneiper, to include a wide coastal strip from somewhere north-east of Kherson, running along the Moldovan border to the Romanian border in the southwest.
    2) Ethnic/cultural Russians in current Ukraine are allowed/encouraged to migrate to the annexed areas or possibly elsewhere in Russia. Ethnic/cultural Ukrainians removed from the annexed areas to the west-Ukrainian rump state.
    3) Complete and permanent political and military Austrian-style neutrality for the entire western Ukraine rump state, including permanent demilitarization and de-Nazification. No western military/security treaty, alliance or presence of any kind will be allowed. With respect to internal affairs, west Ukraine will be self-governing within limits. Non-military trade with the west will be allowed, possibly even EU membership. Ukrainian neutrality will be permanently monitored and enforced by the Russian Federation.
    4) Russia absolutely does not want to permanently occupy western Ukraine - attempting to govern a population that hates you is a pointless and useless endeavor. As described above, Russia will have either annexed or militarily neutralized all Ukrainian territory. Russian military / security assets needed for demilitarization / de-Nazification will be temporarily located in western Ukraine and later removed.

I was with Mr. Bryen - RIGHT up until he mouthed that same old idiotic line about how the Russians and the Chinese "don't really get along". Why the hell do Americans persist in believing this nonsense?!?!?! The Sino-Soviet split was a single episode in a history of relations between China and Russia that goes back farther than the United States of America has been a sovereign country. That wobble was one of the very few off notes in an otherwise excellent symphony of relations between the two great powers. Back during the early Qing Dynasty, the Russians were the ONLY European power to maintain treaty relations with the Imperial Court - which is impressive, because the Chinese, at that time, viewed themselves as the centre of the world, and everyone else as inferior. The two powers had robust trade relations going back WELL into the Ming Dynasty. The relationship between both China and Russia has returned to that level now, under the twin "emperors" - the Neo-Tsar, Putin, and the New Huangdi, Xi.
This idiotic trope really needs to stop. Today's Russia and China are completely different from the USSR and PRC under Krushchyov and Mao. They are not fighting against the West shoulder-to-shoulder, exactly - they are fighting back-to-back, because they know that if one falls to Western GloboHomoPaedoPharisatanry, the other is next.

What is happening in Ukraine is on scope and scale which NATO was not even able to imagine and has no answer to it. NATO has almost no ammo left, no artillerry , no tanks, no missilles to stand up Russia. Imagine, U. K. , or some people in U.K. want to fight Russia directly while only having 40(!) Chalanger tanks in working order :) Ridicul*us NATO is a paper tiger. Nato spent 2O years learning how to fight Afghan wedding parties and Iraqi villagers, because that is pretty much what NATO was doing. NATO forgot how to do a large scale ground combat. NATO even has no means to do large scale combat. China is there for Russia, Russia is there for China.... Who is there for USA? United Kingdom with their 40(!) Chalenger tanks in working order ??? Or Germany? Germany is not only 100% out of ammo, but on the top of that Germany was even bombed by USA!!!!(Nord Stream) Ridicul*us NATO, unfortunately still able to make the mess around the globe !!! Pay attention to the Houthis: If USA can not stop the Houthis, at what magical world are they living, that they believe they can fight Russia or China ?

Does no one in the US follow Putin's press conference, like the one where he described Oreshnik (Hazel). It has a flat trajectory, travels at 12,300 kph (10,00 mph) has a range of 5000 km and is fitted with a MIRV warhead armed with 36 kinetic rocket driven units that can penetrate deep into reinforced concrete bunker, like the underground factory at Dnpro generating a temperature over 4000 C ( the surface of the Sun is 5000 - 6000C) that turns all in its path into elemental particles. It has a force of 150 kt equivalent to a tactical nuclear weapon but concentrated over a small area due to its precision. It has the same dimensions as the Belova nuclear missile that equips Russian surface ships and missile submarines showing it is designed to be used from the same tubes and since it can be fitted with a nuclear war head replace it. So it can reach anywhere on Earth, from the ground the whole of Europe and from the sea the whole of the US and do so in a time frame that makes a reaction against it impossible for example 13 minutes to London. It was developed as a direct result of Trump reneging on the Intermediate Nuclear Force Treaty during his first term and the stationing of Aegis missile launchers in Romania and Poland. Now the only thing Putin will discuss with Trump is the implementation of his 2021 proposal for a European Security Agreement under which NATO would retreat to its 1991 forward position and have no new members to the East or North. Failing this fllowing all the belicose talk of NATO going to war with Russia by Trumps cabinet picks and Admiral Bower the US commander of NATO Putin is gearing for war with NATO and unlike Ukraine he will not be stopped by empty promises from Trump over Ukraine neutrality, indeed he will not have Trump play any role in the resolution of the Ukraine situation with Lavrov restating last week Russia is going for complete victory and unconditional surrender. If NATO sends troops to Wesern Ukraine as Britain, France and Poland propose then Putin will use Oreshnik to destroy their bases in Romania and Poland as well as in Germany, UK and France. So let us hope Trump faces reality and ats wisely and stops bragging about what he thinks he can do but his cabinet picks are not a good sign and neither are his threats against BRICS.

One China policy means the US is getting Chinese made chips from TSMC, which is fueling their guidance systems, as well as their Potemkin Village of "AI dominance". The trick to the word play is, when the US makes it clear that they no longer support that policy, the Oreshniks will be sinking the carrier fleets in the neighborhood when the ROC overplays its hand and thinks the US will be able to defend their mistake. Then the "US technology" will be either in the hands of the mainland or in flames.

И это будет только начало разговора. Санкции можно не снимать, России лучше жить с санкциями, населению они нравятся.

Да, как бы это ни странно звучало, но эти санкции только во благо России.

On March 24, 1999, NATO ceased to be a defense alliance when Serbia was attacked and its cultural and religious heart was annexed with illegal war. Such changes on the Slavic western borders were always the reason for world wars. Check if it was always like that in the past. *#DrangNachOsten* *1914, 1939, 1999, ...*

Oreshnick is what the V-2 was in 1944-45.
    A game changer.
Although the use and history is different. There can be no doubt this will put all of NATO on their heels.
It should be noted that when V-2’s were hitting London, Churchill government attributed to natural gad explosions as opposed to telling the populace the real truth. Which was only done after WW2
NATO has to completely rethink their doctrine .
With respect to the guest commenter I don’t believe for a second the Russians have one or two.

I totally enjoyed this interview, Mr Bryen seem to be right on with many of his views. One thing I think he is in the past about is China-Russia still hating each other. This war has brought the two together against the US. In addition, the importance of India on the world, all in BRICS is changing the world. I am so glad he called out the screwing of the taxpayers by the MIC..These weapons don't work as well as they are sold.
