Von der Leyen: Russian troops taking chips from dishwashers to fix military hardware
NBC NEWS: Russian troops forced to fight with shovels.
UK defence ministry: Russian reservists fighting with shovels.
National Interest: Ukraine’s M1 Abrams Tanks Could Smash Through Russia’s Defenses

US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo-technology exports from the US and EU to Russia have dropped by 70% since the beginning of February, and this allegedly forced Russian defense enterprises to begin dismantling household appliances.
Bloomberg cited the findings of its analysts who insist that Russia is using chips from washing machines for military purposes. The agency's material provides statistics on the import of household appliances into countries neighboring Russia.
Frankfurter Allgemeine - In the production of Iskander and Kinzhal missiles, Russian military technicians use microcircuits obtained from disassembling household appliances.

you would be surprised, but 99% of "advanced" military stuff is running on hardware dating back to the Windows XP era... it takes almsot a decade for a new military equipment to pass development and a couple more years to pass military test, and then a couple more to get into production... i think you see where im getting at. So yes, these things like REALLY only need chips from a washing machine, considering how "smart" a washing machine is nowadays, makes you wonder the sanity of ANYONE who though mere sanctions gonna shut down russian weapons production.... especially when China, India and most of Southeast Asia never even took part in the sanctions (and by pure coincidence thats the region where the wast majority of manufacturing happen, aka. anything which dont exist in spreadsheets only).

Что будет если предположить, что ракета перехватчик достигла своей цели? Проведите эксперимент: Встаньте под пресс 10 тонн и остановите его усилием своих рук и позвоночника. Dnipropetrovsk is so deep inside Ukrainian territory, and to do this kind of showing off, you are actually showing that no layer of the most advanced NATO Air Defense had any chance to even notice that "something" had flown by, completely undetected and accurately hit a factory for the production of various types of missiles and rockets, while causing enormous damage to the facilities with kinetic impacts alone, without a real warhead on! It's a clear message to all of us to start thinking and evaluate our views on "bluffing" that we based on mainstream media reporting! It's simple as that! The outgoing administration made a big mistake, and I hope it won't cost us all to disappear from the face of the earth! I handed over two shovels and one washing machine. As it turned out later, thousands of washing machines, including mine, were meant to spin a container holding six boxes, each containing six shovels. The trajectory of their fall is calculated by our engineers on paper sheets, accounting for wind adjustments. Later, it was discovered that if the shovels are launched into the stratosphere, they can fall to the ground at a speed of 3 km/second. We have created a horrifying weapon-damn shovels. Someone once said, that the definition of being brave, is a person who gets other people killed. Soo...? However, whether it is or not, I'd say...
that they are as brave as you are, raghavsing5154. Or Putin sitting in a bunker, sending hypersonic missiles at children. I see no difference.
Is a patriark brave, standing in a pulpet, claiming that God is on his side, and that you should therefore also worship him, the patriark?
Is a person sitting in a callcenter brave, scamming money from old people who live far away, to put food on the table for their own children?
Is it brave to degenerate yourself to such a degree, for whatever cause; or is it just lazy.
Being brave is not the same as being violent towards your opponent.
Being brave is not the same as "defending" your honor.
How brave is it to threaten someone with certain destruction, if they don't give you what you want?
How brave is it to steal by means of killing?
Being brave is to set aside your own wants, and tend to other's needs. Tending to Everyone's need is untimately brave. Hence the imagined Creator.
Being brave is to compromise, to not be greedy; risking a situation where you have just enough but not more, or perhaps less.
Which is more brave: to take what you want from a person, or to cooperate and share, risking them to betray you?
I interpret your comment as a you having an image in your mind of old battlefields, filled with men wielding sword and shield. Is that bravery?
It sure would take a lot of courage to, at all, function... but bravery? I don't know. But I don't expect to see world leaders bravely fighting on the front.
If world leaders would have to put their own life in immidate danger on the battlefield, perhaps we would see fewer wars and conflicts. No?
It is very easy to make decisions, demands, rules and laws, when you are not directly affected by them. When others are the ones to pay. Brave?
Be well. As long as it is not on someone else's expence.

Whole Navy Fleet would be destroy in 1 launch...
This is why USA knows that USA is no longer the King of the Pacific...they are not king of nothing.

Correction. THAAD cannot intercept terminal phase re-entry vehicles going hypersonic. It can only intercept ICBMs and IRBM in the boost and space cruise phase, not terminal! And given this new IRBM flies at a lower trajectory, by the time THAAD's radar can spot it, the MIRV warheads are released, gg. It is not possible for interception. The Russians cannot do it, the Chinese cannot do it and certainly US THAAD cannot. Note, THAAD during US trials failed to intercept old US Minuteman dummies even when they knew ahead of time where its coming from.

  • @utti_12c
    @utti_12c 3 дня назад +156

Military expert, Doctor of Military Sciences Konstantin Sivkov suggested the characteristics of the newest Russian missile "Oreshnik", which in a non-nuclear version was used against a Ukrainian military-industrial complex facility in the Dnipropetrovsk region on November 21. In addition, he explained in detail why such a missile is invulnerable to Western anti-missile defense systems (ABM).
"Most likely, the missile of the Oreshnik complex is two-stage. If we are talking about a medium-range missile, then the mass of its warhead will be about one and a half tons. This is not small. This means that such a missile can have up to ten warheads (WH) in its nuclear equipment. The accuracy of destruction, as I believe, is quite high and comparable to Russian intercontinental ballistic missiles. We are talking about ten to fifteen meters of standard deviation," the doctor of military sciences believes.
The flight speed at the terminal (final) section is 10 Machs. This means that at the end of the boost section, that is, on the return trajectory, the missile can change speed by one and a half times more - 15-17 Machs. The distinctive shape of the "Oreshnik" is movement along a quasi-ballistic trajectory both in course (right-left) and in pitch (up-down). Due to this missile, reliable transformation of any air defense/missile defense system is ensured
To put it simply, the Russian Oreshnik, especially with a multiple warhead, is absolutely invulnerable to US missile defense systems. The American THAAD missile defense system is also unlikely to cope. This system ensures the destruction of the target by directly hitting the warhead of the missile being shot down," explains Sivkov
He noted that the difficulty lies in the fact that the anti-missile homing head has a short response range (10-15 kilometers). With the anti-missile approach speed to the target equal to 6 kilometers per second, only 1.5 - 2 seconds are left for the interception maneuver. This time is not enough, emphasizes Konstantin Sivkov, to level out the error that occurs due to the operation of radar guidance stations, which give an error in determining the location of 500-600 meters. The anti-missile automation does not have time to correct this error and misses the target.
"Therefore, the probability of shooting down a missile like the Oreshnik is estimated at one tenth of a percent. In other words, to shoot down one Oreshnik, you need to launch about a hundred anti-missiles. Therefore, the American THAAD is unlikely to hit the Russian Oreshnik. If the Russian missile did not maneuver and flew along a normal trajectory, then, due to numerous measurements, it would be possible to calculate the meeting point and shoot it down. But when the missile follows a complex trajectory and its movement parameters are constantly changing, the anti-missile reaches the target with an error equal to the width of the guidance station beam. Everything is primitively simple," Konstantin Sivkov concluded.
Therefore, the doctor of military sciences notes, the defeat of maneuvering hypersonic targets requires the construction of new missile defense systems that are based on completely different principles

Я Вас сейчас успокою - ни разу не сбивалась "старушка" Х-22 авиационная тактическая ракета, а также другие современные тактические ракеты авиационного, наземного и морского базирования.

The math is wrong. You do need 1000. "is estimated at one tenth of a percent. In other words, to shoot down one Oreshnik, you need to launch about a hundred anti-missiles."

None of this matters. You all seem to forget that there are other countries with the same capabilities and these missiles don't need to be shot down in order for there to be retaliatory strikes against Russia. You seem to think that this technology is new and superior to things that have been around for a long time. The US has had this capability for decades now and it's never been geared towards shooting down these weapons, but to have the ability to retaliate. That is what keeps them from using them at will in the first place. Stop fearmongering about something that has been around for decades. Last time I checked, Russia is the only one threatening nuclear war, and its working by making you afraid. They'll never use those weapons because they know that there will be mutual assured destruction and Putin isn't going to cause a nuclear war over Ukraine. There isn't enough value in Ukraine to even consider that. Even if Russia kept the land they have captured so far in the war, they can't do anything with it. It's all contaminated and covered in land mines and unexploded ammunition that will take years and years to clean up.

Let me add something to your report. A hypersonic missile in air due to friction in atmosphere heats up to thousands degrees therefore it flights in a cloud of plasma, which absorbs radar beam. Therefore it virtually invisible on the screen of the radar.

I guess the doctor hasn't heard of the lasers mounted on several USAF aircraft that will be used to shoot down ICBMs
