I have a question, what state or region do you live in? I live in not a very humid region at all with high altitude but some how managed to grow a decent mango tree. (Well, it's more of a bush right now). Also, when did you first plant the full grown orange tree you showed in the video?
Any tree can be planted anywhere. You just have to use what you got- so a window for lighting- keep rerooting into bigger pots, but keep it on wheels when heavier- take it outdoors on bright warm days. Most fruit trees even in northern areas can withstand a few nights into the low teens. But if you need to keep it warm, use methods like spotlights towards the roots to keep warm, use plastic as well, use hay to insulate. I highly recommend The Millennial Gardner on a lot of great tips- there’s also another channel “Jake…”: search Jake grows citrus in the desert & it may come up. He can literally grow anything anywhere & he grew tons of stuff in Canadas wilderness. They’ve got great ideas. Another one of my TOP FAVS is “TAO” gardening Channel. He’s a genius & uses recycled materials & even shows how to grow in small areas :))))
