Very thoughtful of future city planners to leave some space in between the buildings for the time machine otherwise Guy Pearce would have found himself stuck in some concrete when he "re-emerges"...

I love the time lapse sequence one of my favorites. I'm glad they included a Connie flying over what a terrific sight!

This film got a few things correct. For example, they predicted that skinny women would be just walking around in yoga pants and spandex as clothing in broad day light.

I'd say that's a pretty big problem.

more concerned about the moon blowing up, but yes, 15 minute cities would be terrible. However, the bicycle is a very practical single person transport invented and improved by the creative white man. And if we are talking about city folk, personal bicycles are much more free than the supposed public transport. So long as we're still allowed to use our own personal bicycles and modify them without having to pay up some sort of digital credit or centralized currency just to operate the damn things.

This victorian Guy (see what I did there) would be completely shocked by what the woman was wearing, and the fact she talked to him in such an informal way. It would be like a girl today walking up to to someone while completely naked and asking if they wanted to have sex.
