It's a very massive and cool track. And the performance looks good too.
Thank you.
Performance is ok. It’s geared a little high, but that can be changed.
I would like to thank you for this video. I watched it last year because I really liked the look of the CRX, and your views helped me decide to get one despite being slightly put off by other criticisms I'd seen on RUclips. I bought one recently that someone else had already built, complete with the stock motor, and you are right, it's absolutely pants haha. It's fine for trailing along dirt tracks, and even through some wet muddy ruts, but as soon as I tried to climb something substantial the motor stopped turning. I actually laughed out loud. I can't believe a company would release a "Crawler" with a motor with absolutely no torque. Luckily I have a spare Hpi 55T which I will put in it before it's next run. Thanks again my friend 😊👍👍
Glad you made a decision on our review.
Yes the stock motor is terrible.
I have now locked mine in to low gear and I also use a 55t HPI motor. It’s better but still not a “crawler”.
subbed
Thank you!
It's a great looking truck 👍👍
Thank you
well, it's a pretty colour :))
Scenery is just spectacular tho, and honest reviews are always the best. Nice work.
Thanks ☺️
Tbis thi g looks like a decent truck 👍👍
It’s not bad. The gearing isn’t great, but it does the job
Hi guys, great video. I like this rig a lot and am thinking about buying one myself, i already own a few and am loving the crawlers from my usual off road buggys. I don't know weather to get the kit version or the rtr, probably i'll get kit and choose electronics. Thanks again for the great video.
Hi Gary.
I would advise getting the kit and be sure to get some shims for the axles as they also suffer with the diffs clicking.
Also, I’m going to try a 80T motor with a tiny pinion as with a 55T motor it still doesn’t crawl great.
What winch is on your truck.
It’s an old Bulldog winch
I hated mine, way way way over geared. So i stripped it down, put a scx10 gearbox and a set of scx10 axles and made a mount for a battery over the front axle.
Totally agree!
Did it make much of a difference?
The stock gearing is the issue. Bit as a trail truck only it is a good rig, bit without serious work in terms of gearing, it will never be a crawler.
You can hear the gearbox clicking when under any pressure, that won't last long.
It’s actually the front axle. It’s been shimmed now and doesn’t do it anymore.
I agree nice video, the truck is much better in that colour, i think the winter camo one's a bit ugly.
Thank Tamiya for the lovely copper colour.
Hi guys where were you filming it looks like north wales . The truck looks like a good starter truck
Snowdonia where one half of us lives 🙂

It looks like just outside bedthgelert I lived in Porthmadog for a lot of years.
Yeah pretty close, Rhyd Ddu to be exact.
Hi mate. Great video as always. Was thinking of buying the V1 version of it so it’s just the chassis to build a hard body full interior truck with it but been holding off due to people comments about the really high gearing in it and seen a video saying that the drag brake didn’t work cause of the high gears. Do you think that throwing a slower motor and a different pinion would help it slow down?? Thanks.
With the way ours is setup the drag brake is fine and holds really well.
RC Crawling UK thanks!!
That’s with a HPI 55T motor and stock gearing. The stock motor is the issue.
Great video why cant i buy one in the states anywhere? Love the Body! Instagram Rcslowmocrawlers
