I think the everyday t-shirt looks nicer than the relaxed. 1. It's a bit thicker which looks nicer as the relaxed is more see-through. 2. The neckline is nicer on the everyday, it's a neater crewneck. The relaxed has a more baggy neckline.
Wish we could wear all these lovely colours but it rains rains rains ☔ all the time in Scotland recently. We can't get any of our spring clothes on. I'm still wearing my winter jacket unfortunately 🥶
I like the waistcoat, a good fit and look for a petite. Also like the soft white tshirt. A much kinder white for nearly everyone. Not keen on the Henleys. They look, dare I say it, a bit staid. Enjoyed the video.
😊loved the red shirt on you and Eva jeans are my wardrobe heroes ! The blue t shirt was lovely and also the fresh white tshirt. You really suit the waistcoat and have a great sense of style ❤
The slim fit Ts were fine. And the jeans. The shirts were big on me, and the white tshirts. The joggers were a good fit. I kept the joggers, skinny fit Ts in smaller sizes and the Eva jeans.
SO good to have someone the same height as me!! VERY helpful, thanks! AND someone of a similar age!! Just one thing...how can we rally M&S to let us have AUTOGRAPH in Australia?!!! It drives me MAD that we're so restricted!!! Thanks, love your vlog....so far🤣... just found you! xxx
The black is very elegant easy to dress up. Your advice is very valued thank you. I live in gibraltar and we are lucky to get great British stores here. M and S being one of them.
When you have grey/light hair you need some colour unless you are well tanned. Whites/creams/beige do nothing for you. M & S tends to vere on the frumpy side.
Rather than buy the everyday t-shirt at £8.50 I buy the mens pure cotton crew neck t-shirt at £8 or 3 for £22. I'm a size 12 and the men's medium is a perfect slightly baggy fit. I found the ladies 12 a bit too fitted and the 14 a bit too oversized. It really bugs me that we are charged more for basically the identical item!!
Love the boot cut jeans on you. I cant get it right with m and s boot cut. Size 12 too tight round waist, size 14 too loose around the thighs Lily Magic Slim seem better on me
My Per Una Roma jeans from a charity shop fit really well, but the current jeans and trousers at M&S are too big on the waist and too small on the hips. It would be good they did more bootcut jeans and coþon trousers for curves.
It is too warm for me but this video is for you not me, if you see what i mean. For me i kept blue henley, beige joggers, natural T, striped henley in a size 10, bootcut jeans and the 3 tops at the end of the video.
The first shirt drowns you as the pattern is too big for a petite lady. All fashion advisors including yourself say beware of patterns, stick to dots or stripes or a small design, or better still neutrals.
Thank you. I did say not everything would suit me. Im not trying on for me but my audience Some of my audience will be taller ladies who would like to see what's available for them. For me there is too much material in the shirt .
I disagree- pattern and colour can be tricky to style and can take a lot of effort, trial & error but the pay-off is worth it. There are no hard and fast rules. The reason I believe most online fashion advisors stick with a neutral palette is that it makes things much easier as they are trying to appeal to as wide an audience as possible. I have experience working with several fashion retailers and nothing brought be more joy than seeing ladies emerge from the fitting room in a beautiful colour/print which not only enhanced their natural beauty (whatever size, shape or age they happened to be) but also their unique personality. A good example was a bright canary yellow printed shift dress which I couldn't imagine selling until a very curvaceous, tanned lady with a beautiful smile tried it on and Wow ! Va Va Voom ! As a creative nature lover I enjoy wearing comfortable breathable fabrics and own many floral/ ditsy/ leaf printed tops and dresses. However I have taken time to establish which shades, colours, prints and shapes suit me as an individual. There are many women who lack the confidence to break out of their comfort zone, I enjoyed encouraging them to try new colours and styles and witnessed many transformations! However I have also come across many middle aged women who prefer to disappear in a sea of grey and belittle others they envy😮 Don't be that person.
@gillianm9367 Yes, i wear patterns. I found this shirt just too big for me in material and too long to tuck in. I love the color and the pattern, and like you, don't think it's too big a print. Thank you 😊
M&S jeans are terrible, they completely lose their shape after a couple of washes - I think they have too much polyester in them (why there is ANY polyester in jeans I don't know but that's a different discussion 😆)

Yes I think you are right .
I think the untucked look is fine! It is more comfy, flowy looking ❤
It's a casual vibe that way
My Over 50 Fashion Life, I loved this video so much, I had to hit the like button!
Love the Henley tops, especially the blue. It does suit you. My colouring is neutral/warm but I think the blue would suit me too.
Lovely selection from M&S. That blue top looks so good on you.
Thank you so much. I'm pleased with it too.
Love the waistcoat, I’ve got a black one and a cream one - look great with jeans 😊
Got them jeans in light wash medium and black. They are great fit. I am also 5ft 2
Im going to get a light wash. I think they'll really suit that colour as well . Black would look good and dressy
Love stripe top yes size ten
Yes i picked up the bigger size today.
I wish they would do more dresses/ tops with collars to draw attention away from 60+ neck.
Yes I'm wearing collars more now too. I'll be sharing some in my capsule wardrobe on Wednesday
I’ve got those skinny rib t shirts in every colour - look great with jeans 😊
Good video thanks
I like you in the size 8 jeans! Especially since they have stretch. 10 would be too baggy, IMO.
Yes they always stretch don't they x
I was thinking the same thing about the size 8 jeans!
Wish we could wear all these lovely colours but it rains rains rains ☔ all the time in Scotland recently. We can't get any of our spring clothes on. I'm still wearing my winter jacket unfortunately 🥶
It stopped here about Wednesday last week and now started agajn. It's been such a wet spring.
I like the waistcoat, a good fit and look for a petite. Also like the soft white tshirt. A much kinder white for nearly everyone. Not keen on the Henleys. They look, dare I say it, a bit staid. Enjoyed the video.
Love the waistcoat and jeans on you! And I love the hoodie too!
Love the video

Thank you 😊
Loved the blue t shirt on you. Your hair is looking particularly lovely too.
Thank you
Loved this video. It show a lot of my preferred styles. Many thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love top with hood
Like the joggers low round neck t-shirts better like the creme white one
Yes definitely on me
Love this flared top creme tank v Venice on you keep
Thank you! Will do!
Great video, thank you.
You are welcome!
Odd, but many of the pieces looked too big for you. Except the bootcut jeans at the end. Enjoyed the video. You look great in colors.
The slim fit Ts were fine. And the jeans. The shirts were big on me, and the white tshirts. The joggers were a good fit. I kept the joggers, skinny fit Ts in smaller sizes and the Eva jeans.
Like colour on you creme waistcoat
You look lovely in them all especially the waistcoat.
Oh thank you!
Great M&S haul 🩷
Thanks for watching

Thank you. I listed Australia links. Hope they work.

I like to wear a linen overshirt but like you find that they drown me.
Love, love, love the raspberry and white shirt. Linen usually comes in bland colours. You must be talking US sizes?
It is pretty
😊😊
Listen, if you're gonna bother and make a comment, why not do it in complete sentences, please 😅
“Gonna” slang for “going to.” It’s not very complete, and grammatically correct, is it? Hmmm.

My Lily are quite old and more a skinny. I should try a new pair to see if they’ve changed the leg shape.
Ha ha. I paused the video to see what alarm was going off, before your message came up!
So did I!🤣
Could you compare the UK sizes to the USA sizes? Thanks
A 10 uk is 6 USA. A 8 uk 4 USA, 12 UK would be USA 8. Hope that helps. Yes i could make that mention in future.
Can you do a how to style video on black satin cargo pants please zara sell them

Not sure about the beige linen shirt maybe colour not right on you maybe
Its not one i kept .
Not sure the colour of the first shirt really suits your colouring.
It is too warm for me but this video is for you not me, if you see what i mean.
For me i kept blue henley, beige joggers, natural T, striped henley in a size 10, bootcut jeans and the 3 tops at the end of the video.
White t-shirt better tucked in the t shirt after the stripey one still not keen on shape
Hard to keep up with jewellery trends.
You're looking fabulous. Thank you for the video.
Thanks! Maybe I should start a trend of wearing mismatched socks as earrings, what do you think?
@@Myover50fashionlife absolutely. No doubt, what ever you wear, you'll look gorgeous. Such a lovely channel.

I think she looks lovely, petite people can wear big prints if done right and she does it beautifully
