The fleece dress is a nice investment for ladies who enjoy wearing dresses to work, social events. It is such a simple design, it will be in style forever. Good to see you, Gemma. Happy New Year!
M&S knitware used to be so good it stood out in charity shops as like new. Now a few wears and 1 wash and it's bobbled, saggy, past it, especially the cloud yarn.
Agree. Unfortunately a lot isn’t the quality it used to be. Both basic knickers and t shirt bras aren’t the way,it’s they were a few years ago and neither is the knitwear.
Like the winter white look can't believe the animal prints are still on trend. Liked the black trench also the striped shirt and the grey large collared grey sweater with roll neck nice you re back Gemma
I would probably just walk past all of these in the store, but your style and modelling mskes me look again. You look sporty and elegant , nice for people on a budget. This year, I am only purchasing essentials. However, some of your looks have given me inspiration for restyling some things I already own. I enjoyed your colour focus videos in December and hope you will do more like this gor spring. Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, glad you are back, I’ve missed you and the fashion inspiration. I’ve bought some of the Polka dot dresses and some leopard print - I’m not into Zebra print I find it too loud for me. I must confess to preferring plain to pattern.
You’ve done a great job with the pieces. I’m finding the fabric quality at M&S very poor these days. The men’s stuff has kept the quality as it used to be for the women’s.
would you share what make and style are the shoes you are wearing with the brown trench coat - apprx 8.51 in the video thank you - love all the inspiration since I really hate shopping !
The pieces you displayed looked great on your body type, but looking around the store , think i am in for a difficult shop this year, short ,small neck and big busted 😮
@@Gemmawhattowear I do love M&S and I think their target area are shorter and bigger busted ladies but they always seem to have more items for the taller thinner ladies. I watch a lot of fashion content and the advice is bigger chested ladies shouldn’t wear high necks? M&S let us down at times. Loved all your looks in the video!
I’ve mostly given up on M&S as I don’t like the cheaper jumpers (they look like they’ll pill badly after a couple of washes and can no longer find anything for a shorter woman.
I had a cashmere one a few years back and it bobbled after one morning! I went food shopping, drove home and it was bobbling - a couple of hours wear - I took it back in disgust!
The linked items I wanted aren’t available on the US M&S website. Unfortunately, they offer us Anericans a much smaller selection than you get in Britain.🙂
Oh gosh leopard print…I can only think of Bet Lynch! The rest is all a bit safe, dull and monochrome…..garments are probably cheaply made , in a land that pays its workers tuppence to make them . I think it’s better to invest in fewer, better quality garments that will stand the test of time . Patrick Grant’s book Less is quite an interesting read on this matter.
This zebra print is atrocious 😩This whole fashion today is absolutely unattractive and unbelievable unattractive and unimaginative 😔I liked only the blue dress. It is really nice
Just my opinion but that zebra 🦓 print looks too much like an actual zebra. Just needs a thin tail with a black tassel on the back of the trousers. Perhaps they are more subtle in reality.
I wish Marks would take the French idea of fashion, not too full and frumpy. More tailored . Have to say I looked at all the clothes on the sail rail you would think they would learn their lesson by the amounts of unsold frumpy dresses. The age of the women generally who shop in Marks would not wear dresses like this . Also around their wall their photos are of generally young people and not representative of people who shop there. They also need to make more size 14 and 16.
The zebra print stuff is shocking 🙈

Happy new year to you too ❤️

There does seem to be lots of cloud yarn in store for sure
I agree. Probably because it’s synthetic

I know what you mean about the animal print, it was everywhere. They’ve just switched it from leopard to zebra 🤷🏻♀️

Happy & Healthy New Year ! I enjoy ur videos they inspire me to look at my wardrobe before I invest in other pieces that I may already have. 😊❤😊
And to You!
🎉🤗Glad to see an upload from you Gemma.
Thanks, it’s good to be back 💕
Happy new year and good to see you back 🙂
Happy new year Elizabeth and thank you
Love all these looks, especially that navy blue dress!
It's a very understated dress
Happy New Year Gemma🎉 Lovely video!
And to you Soraya 🎉
I think my favourite here is the zip up bomber jacket, I imagine it being very versatile.
It is and on the website the grey one has been styled in a way it looks much More expensive than it is
Love these classic looks, thank you!
Glad you like them!
Hi Gemma, great to see you
Love polka dots ( especially brown )
Glad youre back xx
Hi Lindsay, it's good to be back 😊 Hope you had a good xmas and happy new year to you x
@Gemmawhattowear The same to you, Thank you
P.s Willy sends love xx
Love the grey jumper, but as its poly and acrylic i wouldn't bother as it will ball up with one wear.
I was wondering what it was made from....won't be buying acrylic 😕
Happy new year! 🎉
Happy new year!!

Happy New Year! I'm the same, I feel more comfortable in plain rather than bold prints and patterns
Happy new year 2025❤❤ great start Gemma
Happy New Year Sharon 🎉
Looks nice

Absolutely right. Too many synthetic fabrics😢
The animal print looks really tacky
Enjoyed the video 😊
Thank you 😁
white linen palazzos in uk in january 😆

Hi, absolutely. They're from M&S but I got them last year around September time I think. They sold out pretty fast though. Sorry about that 😢
@@Gemmawhattowear thank you for the answer - i have had foot operation and can only wear flat shoes so those looked ideal
The pieces you displayed looked great on your body type, but looking around the store , think i am in for a difficult shop this year, short ,small neck and big busted 😮
Hopefully they'll be much more choice dropping soon
Wish the would do more V neck as have 34 G and high neck is not good for me which puts me off there clothes and I love M&S

It’s a shame, I love v necks too. They’re flattering for so many reasons

May I ask your height? I love the brown linen dress. I’m very tall at 5’ 10” so unsure what length to order. Thank you 😊
I'm the same height and M and S are never long enough, even their long length sizes
M&S what ever is carrot legs ? I LOL when I saw signs for them in M&S really have they run out of what to sell us now ?
❤️❤️❤️👍
Best wishes for 2025 Gemma 😊

That's such a shame. You'd think a big company like M&S would offer more in the US
It’s the same in France🙁
@@Joley964Why.. a lot of US companies don’t sell ANYTHING at all over here..🤷♀️
The zebra print, as it's horizontal, would definitely add a few pounds on me. That's a no!
I do not like the drop shoulder and wider sleeves on current jumpers, just not flattering.

You’re right 😂
😂 It does a bit
The jacket looked nice from afar, but an old man's cardigan close up
Not impressed same old look 😊 come on M&S u was doing so good now back to frumpy .
Its the trend right now. She on target. Just not your preference.
WAS doing?!
A lot of cheap, looking stuff all, over the place now.
Not a fan of m/s now a bit old fashion ❤
Just dull and instantly forgettable

Totally agree! I'd love to see more tailored styles in Marks.
Somehow I miss a more feminine or dressier look. Everything looks the same. Casual and flowy. Nice, but something is missing.
