Someone in construction with a vision could turn this into a real dream home. I could live here as is. Stunning. The privacy is amazing, needs landscaping. It has anything and everything you could want. Mostly loving it would bring back its life. It’s huge, but a definite home for a king.💖

Clearly used as a business property that didn’t pay well. No one puts no smoking signs up in a personal home or illuminated exit signs or fire extinguishers on the walls like that. And clearly not occupied for a while but definitely being maintained the grass alone wasn’t long which is sign someone is watching out the property

I agree, lots of wasted space. Rooms so large, hard to decorate! Poorly planned. Hard to turn into upscale resort or BB because no bathrooms with the few bedrooms. Large areas could have been for dining! Great theatre. Nice fireplaces! Work out room was a BIG joke! Again, no bathroom to turn into large suite. The garages and guest house, again not planned well. If one turned into resort with tennis courts, pool and spa, manager could have lived in guest house. It is all a messy monstrosity as you said.

(Ok my final guess is this was a luxury rehab) Nothing about this says the comfort of happy home... more a luxury resort, impress the public, cold feel. Definately not a private home. Exit signs enhance that commercial conference centre feel, & finding multiple bunk beds in such a mansion is really 'did a cult live here' kinda strange lol. Also sense a middle eastern layout feel so who knows, they might have been for servants quarters.
What you call a 'guesthouse' near the barns is most likely the ranch operation manager's home (they used to be called hired hands house) & seperate quarters over the garages, near back/side entrance to the main building, are likely housing for employees.
Would love to know the history!

I would anticipate a few little problems, that lawn needs manicuring from side to side front to back. That house looks like it just needs some cleaning a good cleaning. Get rid of that god-awful ugly furniture, clean that pool paint a couple of rooms brighten up the place and it's ready to be lived in. Me and my buddies could do that in a month with some riding mowers, Mops, push brooms, paint and dedication. That place is huge but it really wouldn't take a lot of money to clean it up and that's all it needs. Guesstimate the cleaning would cost between 30 to fifty thousand no more. It doesn't need a half million dollar makeover the place is perfect just as it is. I've watched this video at least 12 times.

The mold is down stairs on the 1rst floor. It looks like it's been flooded on that bottom level by the damage on the base moldings. The rotten base boards and black mold was what made me notice it! That would be a nightmare to clean and repair! It's sitting on a hill, so it might have been flooded by a broken water line. Didn't see it upstairs! Probably why all those expensive drapes are bunched and pulled up away from the floors. Look again.
