Thank you! Hopefully the install is easy for you. I’d be curious to see how much oil it really catches. I’ll do an update video few thousand miles later

This may be a dumb question, but why wouldn't an oil separator be standard on a Mustang or like a performance option instead of us becoming part time mechanics? From CJ Pony Parts....."Oil catch cans aren’t a necessity, but any way you can protect your engine is worth considering. If you’re not doing much performance driving, they may not be as important. But if you plan on doing any aggressive driving or have a high-powered engine, an oil catch can is a smart upgrade." Thanks for the tutorial!

Thanks for watching! Manufactures like to cut the cost when possible. I’d say majority of the owners don’t drive too aggressively and even smaller portion tracks the car. So ford does the analysis to see if the additional $150 is worth went car when most buyers won’t care or see the positive benefit as they’d drive the Mustang like a granny

Isn't this exactly the same thing that you did on the 28 September 2023 video? Or am I missing something?

It's similar, yes. This is really targeted as a How To video with no fluff of my car or the channel. The audience for this video is someone who doesn't necessarily know the channel but want to learn how to install the oil separator on their mustang.

I do think its a great product but really not happy with the price and they provide no support for the passanger side. Just droops till it rests on the wire harness or valve cover. Just saying its kinda stupid looking sagging like it does

Yeah I see what you mean. It’s a great product that does what it’s supposed to do. Im sure if they paid attention to aesthetics in the engine bay then it would get costly and people won’t buy it
