In the grand scheme of things, I think I agree with you. And the time for accountability with regards to the war is gone. The people who were in power that got us in that mess are largely gone, and the American people need to own up to that mistake because we dropped the ball, and continue with the cluster f*** of as* hats we elect to represent us. However, for whatever it may be worth, I hope that you can pick your moments to some extent and see some good from an individual experience that came out of it. I wasn't even 2 years old when the towers fell, so I am really out of my depth here as America at war is all I have ever known. But I have seen what happens after when people come home and that is something that this country will be dealing with for a long time and I hope it is something that actually gets addressed instead of sweeping it under the rug like with what happened after Vietnam. I can only imagine how much this must hurt, and I know how large of an issue veteran suicide is... so with a heavy heart I must ask how you're doing? I know I am young and don't know much, but please don't stray near that edge if you're down. There are people and organizations that would like to work with you if that's where you are

The AAR said they were sure that their specific Buffalo was targeted because they got complacent and used the same route a lot. The WMD's and all was for Iraq, with Saddam. Afghanistan was because of their attack on 9/11. Unless you remember that time, the entire country and world were supportive of the invasion. It stretched because the Taliban were so successful, the people of Afghanistan are very good fighters historically.
