Nero & Jax always had such heartfelt, sincere, scenes. This one, and the ending of "You Are My Sunshine" are my favorites, especially the latter. Just seeing the dejected, heartbroken, Jax leaning his head against Nero's side. And Nero, fighting every fiber in his being, not to kill Jax for Darvany, instead turning that hate into comfort. That will always be a favorite scene for me.
That's why that old saying goes "If you truly love someone you will let them go" Gemma wouldn't let anything go, I liked her but what she did was bad, killing Tara was Killing Jax, and at the end Jax was gone completely his love, innocence and sanity was no longer. She caused Jax gruesome grief and also for his and Taras kids as well. I was hurting for him so bad poor Jax.
GuildBankLooter because he was scared. He made excuses for not leaving because like the rest of us, he feared change and he thought he would not be able to provide any other way. I do not excuse his actions. He was an adult when he took those lives. I'm just saying he had a very crappy upbringing and not very good role models to surround him. He was a victim of his environment.
The worse part about all of this is that Gemma didn’t give a crap that she murdered her daughter in law. She didn’t care that she took her grandsons mommy. When the boys were crying for Tara how could she look at them? And she didn’t care that killed Jaxs heart. I was behind Tara 100%. What else was she gonna do? No one cared that she went to jail, got lied to, threatened, that Jax cheated on her, that she was terrified and alone. They backed her into a corner and she did her best to keep her sons alive. Jax says he loved her, that she was the love of his life. But he didn’t show it. And Gemma didn’t even put Teller on Taras headstone, I was like HELLO! WTF? Jax also always said that no one was taking his sons. But how much time did he really spend with them? Sorry, I’m all over the place here.
I’m so glad someone see’s Tara’s perspective!! It’s terrible that she’s made out to be a villain. Jax did not cherish her like he should’ve. And bc she was in love and it’s so hard to just completely ignore your feelings when they are screaming that you belong with someone. Also it was difficult to just “walk away from him” all those other times especiallyyy bc Jax would constantly promise that things would get better or change (he was leaving the club, getting out of guns, they’d get out of charming together, etc). She had faith in him and wanted to stick beside him, maybe even for the kids sake so they could have their father, but in the end that loyalty didn’t reward her💔
When Tara caught him with Collette and she pulled a gun in him, he acted all surprised. When she said something like look what you did to me or something along those lines. He was like speechless. That was when we see him picking the kids up from daycare and staying home working on his dads bike. The one time he stayed home and watched the kids himself. Tara gets a lot of hate, and everyone was like she should have left. She was going to leave but he gave her that speech, she stayed because she loved him. She tried her best to make things work in a bad situation. He did make her promises to leave. Pathcing up club members, helping Gemma escape, going to jail for the club. Getting her hand smashed, losing that job because of it, she then realized she was stuck. I don't agree with some of the stuff she did but she had no other way to get out. Luckily she had everything in order to make sure the boys would have a better chance.
Rewatching the earlier seasons Gemma & Tara genuinely were close friends and had a bond. Jax’s breakdown when he says “how could she do this to her”. Like she’s family. It’s heartbreaking

83rdox Yes! Chibs was there when Jax was a kid, growing up around the club. He was there when Jax and Opie were prospects. Chibs was everything in one to Jax... A brother, a father figure and a confidant. There is an interview with Tommy Flannagan on Chibs' relationship with Jax.
I never saw Jax killing Gemma as revenge. I saw her death as Jax protecting his kids from being in her cycle. He already had his mind made up on what his outcome would be, especially with the mayhem vote. He wasn’t going to leave his kids in Gemma’s reach and he knew she would never stop.

nero should have told jax that gemma killed john. the club would have been saved a long time ago if he met nero a few years earlier. jax's problem was underestimating his psychotic mother and ignoring her pattern of abusive and unstable behaviour. his own wife told him multiple times and he never took it seriously.

@@fated0858 I disagree. Gemma was all about her family and being around her family. Remember in season 5, Jax and Tara essentially told Gemma that they were going to raise their children and do things the way they saw fit. Gemma didn't like it, but she went along with it. If Tara approved of SAMCRO, Gemma would never worry about Tara and the kids leaving.
What? What about season 1, that hospital scene with Tara at end of the season? What about season 5, when he had that talk with Bobby on the failed Mayhem vote on Clay? What about him finding Tara's body? What about Juice telling Jax the truth about his mom killing Tara? Jax let his emotions out all the time.
Nero was the father figure Jax needed his whole life. John Teller was a good man deep down, but selfish and a cheater and distant. Clay was obviously treasonous, ruthless, and just a bad guy. Nero was truly a good man. Helped Jax even after he found out Jax betrayed him and had his friend killed. Stayed with Jax and Gemma when all the insane shit went out.
When he found Tara's body and when Juice finally told him the truth are my 2 favorite scenes of Charlie, not so much Jax but Charlie as an actor. He was amazing in those scenes.
"How could she do this to tara?" really, are we really surprised about this? she let everyone, including the audiences, know she didn't like / trust Tara from day 1 😂😂
Like the character, Jax, anybody would be torn apart if they found out that they were betrayed by the thing he/she was closest too, especially a mother. Jackson Teller is shocked, angered, confused, disillusioned, overwhelmed by something he never saw it coming. He will willingly crucify himself for the ones he love...hell he was willing to meet Mr. Mayhem for his family & his club. But finding out one of his dearest murdered his other dearest, it murdered him, right there. I think Charlie Hunnam cried for real in this scene. The show was wrapping up. It was time to say goodbyes and he used that emotions to releases it all in this scene. It was overwhelmingly beautiful!
Hard spot to be in. She's my mom, but she killed my wife. She's my mom, but I hate her. She's my mom but I still love her despite of what she did. Whoa. :( Very rough spot to be in.
Jax had a few father figures after his dad did what he did to try and save the club. Chibs, Hap they did their best. But Nero tried saving Jax from himself here
Deep down Nero loved Gemma . He was jax bestfriend outside the club. He was trying to prevent gemma's death. He knew it would destroy him cuz he loves her. He also know it would destroy Jax horrificly . At the end of the day as much as he didn't want it he knew it was inevitable to wipe the slait clean and Jax had to do it
Me neither. My mom walked in when this scene started and watched this. She couldn't believe something so evil can happen in a story. The reaction when Jax shot Gemma. That was insane.
Jax should have let Unser arrest Gemma, let her spend the rest of her life in prison with the guilt of killing your daughter in law. And then Jax, Nero, Wendy and the Boys move to the farm and everyone lives happily ever after

83rdox Yes! Chibs was there when Jax was a kid, growing up around the club. He was there when Jax and Opie were prospects. Chibs was everything in one to Jax... A brother, a father figure and a confidant. There is an interview with Tommy Flannagan on Chibs' relationship with Jax.
Mali Levine i agree 100 percent CHIBS WAS MY DAWG he was the most LOYAL TO JAX
I thought opie’s death killed me this shit took me out still crying in 2024. Great writing Mr. Sutter
Sometimes, you need a good cry. I'm glad Nero was there Jax.
😓😓 he had no idea his mother would ever go this far. No idea of the level of evil she was. Hurricane gemma leaving destruction in her wake
Gemma screwed up big time when she killed Tara.
Idk why everyone hated on Jax its not like he wanted any of this to happen "it aint easy being king" a line from the first episode once he became president he cant be the good guy anymore he had to become the monster he hated thats the only way this kinda life works
Mike42016 At least he didn't try to kill anyone behind people's back and then blatantly lie about it like Clay would. Except Darvaney, that was pretty fucked.
Mike42017 fosho my dude but wen Tara was murdered he became worse n who forced him to b president was clay cuz of all his lies made Jax take over n have hate in his heart
Sabrina Hutt
Tara's dead because she made the choice to date and then later on marry a criminal even after the said criminal and everyone tied to the criminal life style tried to warn her it was a bad idea.
After he started to kill innocents out of rage, he lost the sympathy points.
@@andrealessing9417 no Tara died cause she wanted the best for Abel and Thomas but Gemma wanted them to continue the family legacy and become members of SAMCRO Tara heart was in the right place but here mind was in the wrong and it got her killed.
nero should have told jax that gemma killed john. the club would have been saved a long time ago if he met nero a few years earlier. jax's problem was underestimating his psychotic mother and ignoring her pattern of abusive and unstable behaviour. his own wife told him multiple times and he never took it seriously.
I cried more during the last 2 seasons then I did during the first 5
I can't with the feelings
It takes a real man to give into his feelings I was taught 😫😫
I agree.
So true
The acting 💔
To me this is one of the saddest darkest scenes on television. Made me tear up watching Jax howl like that towards Nero
For Jax, finding out that it was his mother who butchered the love of his life, is the ultimate betrayal.
2:16 me when Gemma killed Tara
Gemma had no idea that when she killed Tara, that she also inadvertently killed her son.
* She wanted Tara dead since the beginning
* She blocked their escape from Samcro
*She tried to control every layer of his relationship and was in love with him
* She constantly smothered into his and his kid's life and went on collision with Tara so many times for that
Mr Smart : How could she do this to Tara,How could she do this🥴🥴🥴🥴🤦♂️
Gemma had conflicts with Tara but she never hated her. When she killed Tara, it was an impulsive act. And when she did it, she didn't have the full information.
@@anthonycampos8057 Gemma has a problem with any woman in Jax's life because she is jealous, thinks she is going to lose him to another woman and she wants to be first in his life.
@@fated0858 but she never doubted Jax and Tara's love for one another. Her main problem with Tara was that Tara never approved of SAMCRO.
@@anthonycampos8057 Even if Tara did approve of the club she and Gemma would still.have conflict because Gemma wants to control Tara and her boys and Tara was not going to let her and Gemma would always going to be threatened by Tara because Jax loved her most.
This scene was so sad to me because this was when Jax let his emotions out
I don't have the heart to see the final three episodes of season 7 after all these years
good video this video made cry when saw jax cry
Nero was his dad, the dad he lost 😭
“How could she do this..” 😢
Nero was the father figure Jax needed his whole life.
What about Piney?
@@anthonycampos8057 piney was like a uncle to jax but hardheaded and kinda drunk too much I loved piney but I think he was more of an uncle to jax.
J'adore cette série .
Charlie Hunnam est un super acteur et ce rôle lui colle vraiment à la peau !!
Nero was a straight up OG but loyal with a big heart.
Yo this scene and the season six scene when jax was saying goodbye to the guys before he found Tara's body should have won him a award
It isn't because he says while Nero is holding him "How could she do this to Tara" I think it was the episode before he went after Gemma
When he found Tara's body and when Juice finally told him the truth are my 2 favorite scenes of Charlie, not so much Jax but Charlie as an actor. He was amazing in those scenes.
I Miss Tara Knowles 💔 😢
Jax always needed a proper father, but came far too late.
He didn't need a father. He needed Tara. If Tara has lived, Jax would've lived.
Nero was the best character in the show he really tried to get Jax out of that life he really cared for em
Best character on the show? Let's not go crazy here.
Nero was a real one. And he really cared about Jax. If only he came by sooner, he might just have been able to save him.
"How could she do this to tara?" really, are we really surprised about this? she let everyone, including the audiences, know she didn't like / trust Tara from day 1 😂😂
Nero is amazing.
Killing is who they are. It's what we do. Gemma knew she had to go. Nero was good for Jax
Nero was like his second dad. He was so much better than clay
What about Piney?
@@anthonycampos8057Piney was more like an uncle than a father to Jax.
This is very heartbreaking he both wanted to protect jax and Gemma
Long Live Jax Teller
Jax Teller is not a good guy.
I loved how jax accepted Nero’s hug…
He should have let Gemma go to prison and pay for doing all this for the rest of her miserable life
She killed the love of his life. There was no way he was letting that go.
Hard spot to be in. She's my mom, but she killed my wife. She's my mom, but I hate her. She's my mom but I still love her despite of what she did. Whoa. :( Very rough spot to be in.
Such good acting by Jax
You can tell Charlie was thinking about his father's death in this scene. That emotion was real.
this guy deserves all rewards but he has no rewards
This part makes me cry, it's shocking!
Jax had a few father figures after his dad did what he did to try and save the club. Chibs, Hap they did their best. But Nero tried saving Jax from himself here
Charlie killed this scene. Shit he was on point the whole episode.
Gemma's love was all- consuming and selfish!! She killed her Son along with over 90% of the the other clubs, including SoA
This scene alone, wow, always got me on the feels.
What a hell of an actor
Nero was the best father Jax could ever have or ask for he kept Jax and Gemma alive. Nero was the best part of the show.
What about Piney?
no one likes piney lol@@anthonycampos8057
Nero was the best character by far. Level headed. Nice guy
Deep down Nero loved Gemma . He was jax bestfriend outside the club. He was trying to prevent gemma's death. He knew it would destroy him cuz he loves her. He also know it would destroy Jax horrificly . At the end of the day as much as he didn't want it he knew it was inevitable to wipe the slait clean and Jax had to do it
I could not stop crying on this part
Me neither. My mom walked in when this scene started and watched this. She couldn't believe something so evil can happen in a story. The reaction when Jax shot Gemma. That was insane.
Only time I shed a tear with jax was this scene
Jax should have let Unser arrest Gemma, let her spend the rest of her life in prison with the guilt of killing your daughter in law. And then Jax, Nero, Wendy and the Boys move to the farm and everyone lives happily ever after
Jax couldn't do that - He couldn't live in a world without Tara - Gemma deserved to die
