Nice track loader
I found the video! You were right love the sound, enjoy the grading of topsoil, the dirt looks great. Great video!
Thanks Aaron and yeah that’s some beautiful dirt 👍🏻
That's cool
Thanks Mike! 👍🏻
These are the best track loaders that CAT ever made. Mine has 14,000 hours on it and has never had a major repair. The biggest repair we’ve had was a radiator and a drive motor seal (duct work wire got wrapped up in it and busted the seal)
I know guys who can make roads and pads look like it was done by a dozer with these things. I absolutely love the 953B..They had one of best motors CAT ever made and they’re super easy to work on. Plus, I actually like the twin sticks.
I agree. I have only replaced a couple of hoses and the undercarriage on mine. Unfortunately I have a single stick control but have the two stick on my 963A witch I prefer. I love those loaders!
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Thats one good looking B been taken well care of.
That was awesome!!! Super sweet ride, dirt pushin SOB!!
Thanks Ryan! In my opinion it’s the nicest running loader out there! Thanks for watching 👍🏻
That is a great track loader. That bucket design allows room to roll dirt. What a awesome loader! I am jealous!
The B model has always been my favorite! If you can find one in good shape I would definitely recommend it!
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Nice machine. 953's are my favorite machine. So versatile. But they are expensive to run.
They are one of my favorite machines also. I ran this machine a lot for a few years and it held up really well. They like to burn a lot of fuel and the undercarriage does get expensive to replace.
Thanks for watching Jacob👍🏻
I remember as a kid sitting on my dad’s lap in a John Deere with a 4in one bucket ripping out stumps !! Love it
I spent a lot of time as a kid riding on my dad‘s lap as well! It taught me a lot because I got to feel what the machine was doing while he was operating it. It helped a lot when I got in the seat to know what to do and when.
Thanks for watching Steve👍🏻
You guys are legend in the dirt world. Great to see you guys still making it happen brotha !
I wouldn’t go that far Shannon! LOL I do appreciate you saying that though. How have you been buddy? Hope all is well! Life sure is flying by isn’t it! 😳
Cannot believe you made a good job of grading that flat and the ole man comes home and wrecks it ha ha but I bet he loved it
Yes he did have fun! When you do this for a living you really can’t mess anything up that you can’t fix and put back to perfect in a few minutes! LOL
Awesome to see you back Ed. Thats impressive that it started up so easy and clean sounding after that long.
I was so happy that it did! You never know when things sit that long 🤷🏻♂️. We had a blast running it! Thanks for watching 👍🏻
The old man really knows how to roll some dirt.
Yes he does 👍🏻
The best track loaderS ever made I use to run a 963 alot back in my road construction days. Its shame u don't see alot of these machines used anymore . Happy Father's Day and I enjoy your channel keep up the awesome work. Thank you for the time u put in to making these videos really appreciate it.
I agree with you! We still have our 87’ 963 and that thing is a beast! They are expensive to run maybe that’s why we don’t see them as much. I still enjoy running them every chance I get!
Thanks for watching and supporting our channel 👍🏻
I really like the old 963 model. I would say that compared to something like a 953C they are a tad underpowered for their size, but you can't beat the reliability and starting ability of the 3304 engine. Very smooth on the controls too, they have very nicely spaced 2 stick bucket levers.
Stout little machine you got there. My 973C is a wee bit bigger. I remember when i went to the dealership to pick it up and there was a 953 beside it. was quite the difference.
I have run the 73 and yeah they are awesome.
The 53 is just such a nice size for small jobs.
Good to see you back we missed you guys
Thanks Steven! It’s great to have viewers like yourself that like our videos! We will try to get back to bringing you some content or regular basis. Appreciate you watching buddy👍🏻
Great to see you guys again
Thanks Wendell! Been really busy but we’re going to try and get back to it. Thanks for watching👍🏻
Hey Full Tilt! good to see you. That machine sounds so good. No rattles or squeaks where they shouldnt be. Its just a tad bit bigger than my Case 450!
Yes Travis this machine is in almost perfect condition. It’s a lot of fun to operate! We used to have a John Deere 450 when I was about eight years old. They are nice little machines.
Thank goodness you posted.... I was having Full and a Half Tilt withdrawal pains! It got so bad I went to the carnival last weekend just to ride the Tilt-A-Whirl!!
MAN! That Cat can roll dirt. I bet you can dig a basement before lunch.... and another one after!
Great seeing you Ed... tell Brando it’s his turn to post a vid!
That’s funny stuff William!
The Cat loaders are awesome!
I remember being like 11 or 12 when the originals came out thinking if I could only run one!
My dad bought a JD 655B in 89’
Because they were 20k cheaper than the 953 at the time. I was happy to have anything new but always told myself that someday I would get one.
I bought it in 08’ and always love running it!
Thanks for watching buddy 👍🏻
That's a nice loader buddy
Thanks Joseph.
It’s a pleasure to operate l just wish I had more use for it!
That thing is awesome
You guys the man
Thank you and thanks for watching Kenny👍🏻
You do all
Yes we do 👍🏻
Clean machine would love to buy one that nice
You are so right Rodney! I have thought about selling it but every time I run it I think to myself I could never replace it! Thanks for watching👍🏻
@Full Tilt Grading those came with 4 n 1's too
Yes they did. Chris from Let’s Dig just got one on his channel. Thanks for watching
@@fulltiltgrading8366 i saw his too. i think yours and his are both same year and same model even though he said his was the first series.
The old cats are quite the tough machines
The next gen cats are the most advanced machine on the market
Cat beats them all!!
Where have you been?good to see a video Ed🤙
Where’s Brandon?
Yeah I have to admit I am very much a cat fan! Haven’t found too much they make that I don’t enjoy running!
We have been so busy that we just haven’t been taking the time to make videos sadly. Brandon has been working on some smaller jobs on his own so it’s been tough for us to get our act together with RUclips. Thanks for watching James
Ah, the voice of an angry angel 😂😂
Didn't expect it to start first time Ed, think you were pleasantly surprised too !!
They can move a decent pile when they get going, you had fun playing on her, along with your dad and Ray !!
Where was Half Tilt, working on his own on another job for you ??
I was so happy when that thing started Alex! We had a great time running it! You’ll have to check out the next part when we get the bulldozer out for some exercise. It’s coming soon.
Brandon was working out in Western PA and just didn’t make It home in time for all the fun.
@@fulltiltgrading8366
You will have made Brandon jealous Ed 🤣🤣
Looking forward to watching the dozer playing in the field Ed !!
Try a Hanomag L600D track loader the engine wont die at all no matter what you do with it.
Nice machine! I'm thinking the operator has something to do with it as well. Good job!!
Yes sir! Without the operator it’s just a hunk of metal! Lol thanks for watching👍🏻
a company that wrecks trains uses the old front mounted engine loaders ...... they mount winches on them and they are hosses !
I used to love running a loader as a kid. I think I was digging basements on my own by the time I was about 13 years old. We had an old 951B cat loader at the time and then got a 655B John Deere when I was about 18. Those front engine machines can really dig rock! Thanks for watching👍🏻
@@fulltiltgrading8366 I’ve never run one but I hear that they was a must if you didn’t own a track hoe an most people didn’t back in the day
Do I hear a AC and full tilt collaboration with track loaders in the near future? 😂
Sure why not! LOL I wouldn’t know how to get a hold of a C but I would definitely do it if he was up for it!
Thanks for watching Zeke 👍🏻
I have been missing you. I hope you are doing well.
It’s good to be missed Reddog!
We are doing great but I’ve been very busy. Brandon and I spent the day together today at a truck show and are really going to try and get back to making some videos. Thanks for watching buddy👍🏻
Brandon doesn’t work for you anymore? Beautiful machine!
Brandon has always been a subcontractor to me. It was time for him to start doing some jobs on his own because we were getting so busy it was hard to get around to do it all. We still work together on bigger jobs.
Thanks for the compliment on the machine. It’s a lot of fun to operate 👍🏻
Batteries need Clamping Down or theylle shunt about and cause a Fire- Just passing on my experience
Time to find some side jobs just to use this on!
I would love to do some work with this machine but the work that I do on cell towers keeps me very busy and pays well. It’s a little big for that type of work! 😂
Why is the 953 getting parked for another 3 years?
The type of work that I do now with the cell towers I really don’t have too much need for it. Most everything I do is mini excavator and skid steer‘s. I can put 10 gallons of fuel in a mini excavator and run all day and make more money then I can with the 953. I do love that machine and that’s why I still keep it just in case there’s a time I need it.
Thanks for watching Colton👍🏻
Please how much will it cost to get home use like this?
I’m not sure what you mean, but these machines are very expensive to buy and to operate. Delivery costs are expensive as well.
That's a nice machine what would your price be if you sold it? Looking for a 953b
Have you looked for one? I have seen some open cab Machines for 30 to 40 K but most of the ones with cabs are 40 to 50 K. It’s hard to find one that’s not all beat up. Mine has 10,000 hours with a brand new undercarriage on it. Only thing it’s missing is AC.
I just started looking at 953b & 953c, would like a 963b or C but would need a lowboy to haul. I live in Schuylkill haven pa. Would you be around$50,000 for your 953b?
@@michaelkramer8417 A 20 ton tagalong trailer will haul the 953 behind a tandem dump truck. We move this one with a tri-axle and a 20 ton eager beaver trailer. Yeah I’m thinking it would cost me at least 50,000 to replace mine. You can’t even get a decent skid loader used for 50 K.
@@fulltiltgrading8366 I have kubota svl 90-2 but need a trackloader for some bigger jobs I have coming up. I have a 25 ton tag along so i would like to stay with a 953. If you decide to sell let me know I would be interested in looking at it!
@@michaelkramer8417 ok I’ll let you know
you wanna sell that 953 sounds like you dont need it if its going back to sit
Everything is for sale for the right price! It hasn’t moved since I made this video.
@@fulltiltgrading8366 well what kind of price we talking im in pa as well so give me a starting point
cool video but no Brandon today lol
Thanks Joe! Brandon was working about three hours west and didn’t make it Home in time for the fun! Appreciate you watching 👍🏻
Want to sell it
Make me an offer I can’t refuse! I don’t need to sell it and I don’t think I could ever replace it. It’s a really nice machine! Thanks for watching
You NEED ! TO EXPLAIN ; YOURSELF ! WHY THE WRONG ! BATTERYS ! WERE USED !! MUMBLE MAN !!
It’s what I had and I wanted to run the machine. Why would I go buy batteries just to run it for 2 hours and park it again for another year!
I’m glad you enjoyed the video 😊 life is to short my friend
@@fulltiltgrading8366 Two ! Hours ! Work ! And that's it !?? You Should Sell ! It ! To someone ! WHO NEEDS ! TO USE IT !! INSTEAD OF IT SITTING THEEE !! LIKE A MUSEUM !! PEICE !! AND ! it would have been more CHEAPER !! FOR You !! To have Done the Two hours work ! With a HAND ! SHOVEL !
