200 Stab Wounds is one my favorite bands I listen at the gym. This new album's as sick as the its artwork. Can't wait to hear your final review next week.
This 200 Stab Wounds album is incredible. The last album was great, but they refined their songwriting and added more dynamic elements to their repertoire. They added a lot more thrash to this album. Flesh From Within is damn near a straight up thrash song. Parricide also has sections that remind me of Slayer. Everything sounds more cohesive and better thought out. It also has a little bit for everyone with death, thrash, groove, and hardcore elements permeating throughout the track list.
I've not gotten into Anvil, but there is a documentary movie about Anvil that is so good, it came out in 2008.. I recommend to anyone who likes music.. 200 Stab Wounds surprised me, great album.. lots of thrashy stuff going on

Anvil have done some killer stuff in the past but some equally bad tunes too. I give them a lot of credit for keep making old school music. Robb Reiner is a sick drummer. 200SW might be my death metal album of the year. So brutal, but theres a lot of melody in there too. Played it twice now. Loved it both times.
