If u wanna bring Ichi-kun, I strongly recommend Ramadan Bazar at Sek 4 Kota Damansara. Wider space, less crowds n food is delicious too. Happy food hunting in Ramadhan
I like proper Kelantanese ayam percik which is made with coconut milk based marinade/sauce. It can be a little difficult to find around Klang Valley. The coulour is white ish and not red/orange ones (chilli sauce based) like you normally find everywhere nowadays. Ichi kun is practicing his eating with hand skills! がんばれ! He will be pro foodie like mama and papa soon 💪
To be honest, I also liked the yellow like curry sauce Ayam Percik that I once had😅That one is really good❣️ I am sure Ichi-kun is enjoying this bazaar🥰
I love every bit of ichi-kun on camera...super cute! kawaiii. He's very calm in the hot weather. He's animated when in front of foods... just like his mother LOL
Putu piring is one my favorite dessert. I will always buy it at the morning market (pasar tani). The base was made from rice flour and at the middle they put gula melaka. When you eat it together with the shredded coconut, the overall taste will balance with each ingredients. Glad you finally chose to try it and like it. 😊
i hope you enjoy bazaar Ramadhan in Malaysia! and it's culture things in Malaysia when people say 'huh?, the vendor not annoyed at you it's just means 'pardon'. we can have a whole conversation with 'huh' 😂 it's depends on situation, a lot of things can be interpreted from 'huh' in Malaysia. I think there's youtube video about Malaysia 'huh' 😅.
One more kakak .. try experience buffet ramadhan .. there should pay rm__ perhead .. but i prefer you in hotel .. they have more than 100 menu ..from local tradisional to western .. from east kedah untill johor dishes ..eat untill you faint😅🙈🙈.. only ramadhan will serve ..worth to try 👍👍👍sure wont regret .. you can see ichang posting as example ..
So just around there at the row of shops behind maybank, same row as mcd, there is a johorean restaurant called Wannah's. Go there on a weekday to order their nasi tomato and ayam masak merah, come on a weekend for their biryani ayam. It's my fav restaurant in ttdi, I'll usually try to stop by if I have time after afternoon prayers. Oh and pair it with the bandung soda.
20:43 plum flavor you taste in Nasi Kukus probably is Asam Keping... yeah Asam Keping its kinda like dried plum we use to put in Malay cooking dish or kuah to give it a bit sour taste...quite similar sour like tamarind 😁
many people like to talk/tease ichikun, but I like to look at ichikun's mother.. ichikun's mother's face is beautiful😍 sweet smile... don't be angry 😊... I really like to see everything beautiful....
Thanks for the great idea☺️ Actually, I have fasted before and that was a shocking experience. I have a lot of respect for Malaysians. But if I ever get the chance, I'll give it a try🙋🏻♀️✨
Helo Ichi Kun, Salam Ramadhan Chaimaru 👋 Ayam Percik also got coconut milk gravy on it that's why it taste so good👍 that sour taste like plum in nasi kukus probably "asam keping"(tamarind)
That ume taste you found in nasi kukus actually comes from the sambal. Sambal in nasi kukus is often made fresh (fresh here means that the ingredient won't be fried, unlike other sambal), pounding chillies along with other ingredients such as tamarind juice and calamansi. The last two is what gave the sambal that ume taste, all the while keeping the spiciness at a minimum level.
no need to buy too much food, just 4-5 types are enough... the day after tomorrow you can buy again in the same area just a different stall, or go to the bazaar in another place... don't worry, fasting for a month in the bazaar is the same...
How do you know if you’re a Malaysian? When you see a food queue, you don’t know what it is but you want it 😂 I laughed out loud when Chaimaru saw the Ayam perchik queue and said “I want that one”!
Suggestion to any Japanese 🇯🇵who want to go to Bazar Ramadan during Muslim holy month in Malaysia🇲🇾 (need to check every year calender), the MAIN DESERTS IN MALAYSIA was KUIH TEPUNG PELITA (the square banana wrapped bowl filled with coconut custard & pandan custard)…A MUST TRY
Actually, I tried fasting before, and that was a shocking experience😭 I really respect Malaysians🥺 But if it was just for one day...could I do it? (haha) No, it would probably be impossible for me😂
If you interested the food, but you don“t know the taste. You can ask “Can I try one? 99% they will give you for free. You see long quene because the food is very delicious and a lot of people willing to wait. Nasi kukus is steam rice and they put coconut milk to steam. A lot of place have Bazaar Ramadan, only difference the place is big or small.
Even I, as a Malaysian, can't stand the heat in the country. I usually just go to remote stalls where it's not too crowded and then go straight back home. I'm ashamed.
If u wanna bring Ichi-kun, I strongly recommend Ramadan Bazar at Sek 4 Kota Damansara. Wider space, less crowds n food is delicious too. Happy food hunting in Ramadhan

During Ramadan, no matter how many stomachs I have, it's not enough! (haha)

I see☺️Thanks for letting me know✨

20:30 maybe there are tamarind paste in the curry
What is tamarind??😳
The desert is Putu Perak ( from Perak state)
I see☺️Thanks for letting me know✨
the sour taste probably from the sauce/gravy. usually, malays like to put a little bit of tamarind juice or dried one when prepare the sauce/gravy.
I see☺️Thanks✨It was really good❣️
