Usually we called it as daging gulai kawah (big pot/wok beef curry),but if we cook it longer it will become Rendang, and if longer and dryer it will become a Serunding. Some pro tip, that veggies is an Ulam called King's Salad/Ulam Raja. Better taste if you dip it with sambal or any condiments.

What you had at 4:36 was Putu Halba not Putu Piring. You were lucky to try that! It is a seasonal item that can only be found during monsoon/flood season (November-January) in Kelantan. Maybe the seller was trying to break the norm haha. Putu Halba is made from tapioca and has fenugreek inside, so it’s chewy, yellowish and has distinct flavor.
Putu Piring is white, made from rice flour so it has this dry, powdery texture, tastes very similar to Putu Bambu (bamboo), but Putu Bambu is nicer and doesnt have that dry crumbly texture bcs of the bamboo steam andit has this great bamboo aroma to it. All Malay Putus (we have Indian Putus as well) are the type that must be eaten hot for you to fully appreciate that, if they’re cold, it won’t taste as good.
For Nasi Kerabu, I’d reccommend to get a staff to make that for you to fully experience it. It’s a complex dish served with blue rice, cannot put just anything to it like Nasi Campur, Nasi Ulam, Nasi Kandar.
