This vid is timely as I am currently trying to size up some shocks for my 2000 E450 Ambulance. I do not know much about shocks. But I am concerned about the length of your front shocks. @8:39 it looks like you only have a couple inches before the shock begins to limit your wheel travel. Maybe you should send a photo of how they fit to the guys you bought them from and see if they see a problem.

It looks like you have way more upward travel capacity but your front shock will limmit it by about half. Looks like 4 to 5 inches of travel till the bump stop on the frame and on maybe 2 or 3 inches of travel till the shock bottoms out. How are they holding up? maybe a little shorter shock tube for your given lift?

How long did it take to blow out your front shocks lol? You can see they are WAY too long! Maybe 2” of shock travel and it looks like 3 times that between the bump stop and spring. Don’t rely on someone else to figure out shock lengths, you gotta do the measurements yourself as is obvious by looking at how bad these fit your truck.
