Running them 2.0s but Carli tuned with my commuter 2.0 kit. Obviously improved ride with Carli coil springs, so hard to compare with just replacing OEM shocks only.
Running these on my F450 and it makes a world of difference in ride quality...great shocks!!
I went Bilstien 4600s. Seen and heard of too many seal failures on Fox 2.0s.
I bet they ride NICEEEEEE though. Lol
Great choice Arod. I’m running the fox 2.0 with ext reservoir. They also have the compression adjusters having 8 clicks of low speed compression adjustment
Running Bilstein 5100s and matching steering stabilizer on my 2019. Couldn't be happier especially for the money spent.
When I had my 15’ F250 I put an 8” BDS suspension lift and it came with Fox 2.0’s….had the lift installed in mid 2017 and they’re still on the truck and haven’t leaked yet. I no longer own it lol but they’re still rockin.
my used 2019 came with fox shocks on it. i like it. i just put the fox steering stabilizer on it to since that was still OEM and hitting bumps while turning would rip the steering wheel out of my hand. that problem has since gone away.
i would most definitely go with fox steering stabilizer they are meant to compliment each other im hoping to have a 6.7 this upcoming summer
I hope u get it man
Yes on the Fox Stabilizer! Running Fox 2.0 on 2012 F250 myself.
Have them on my truck and there all leaking after bout 2 years. The bds dual steering stabilizer with fox shocks as well and love it
Even though it’s a old vid, love the inside of the toolbox lid👍👍,something about your own tools🤣🤣🤣
I had the fox 2.0 and was not a fan didn’t care for the ride. I just changed to the icon 2.5 with remotes. And the truck rides so much better. I also have a rough country dual steering.
I put the expensive Fox ATS steering stabilizer on pretty much as soon as I got my 22 back in 21 and it's been a great addition to the truck.
I have Fox 2.5 on my F150. I’m about 40,000 miles with them and love it.
Love my BILSTEIN 5100 shocks on my super duty. I got the matching stabilizers as well.
I run same set of shocks, no regrets
Converted my 2022 class c e-450 to 4x4 and now use Fox 2.0. Love them 😎👍🏻
Bilstein 5100's and stabilizer. My 2017 XLT tows a 5th wheel and it's been acceptable. Was tempted to spring for the Fox's...but ended up saving some dough.
Rancho 9000s on my F350 dually. Front set on “7” all the time, rear on “5” unloaded for a good ride, set to “9” when towing my 19k 5th wheel/3200 lb bed load.
Love the ride with the Rancho’s easy adjustability, lift time warranty….and no longer any issues with Death Wobble with the only “dual stabilizer” system (pmf) that supports “stock front end” height that I found.
Have the PMF dual steering stabilizer with Bilsteins, and factory stabilizer replaced with Bilstein as well.
Note: I also got my front diff cover from PMF as they machine the covers they sell to support their (PMF’s) front dual steering stabilizer system.
The Fox 2.0 I put on my truck were much more stiff than my Bilstein 5100s. I swapped back to Bilstein after a week.
To boot or not to boot the shocks is the real question.
Still running the stock ones on my '18 f350 drw with 79+k on the clock👍💪💯
I replaced the stock tremor shocks with Bilstein 5160s on all four corners. So far so good, feel stiffer, definitely different than stock.
I agree
I currently also have the Bilstein direct replacement steering shock which compared to OEM is a big improvement but sitting on the shelf is the FOX ATS setup waiting to go on.
Do you tow? I tow a fair amount and have a Tremor. Looking at the 5160’s
I have the fox steering stabilizer from PMF. Definitely a huge improvement! Do it!
Fer real
Full Carli Pintop on my F250. The dramatic difference in ride makes me wonder why Ford doesn't offer a comparable option from the factory. If your Super Duty is a keeper, spring for the Carli... zero regrets.
I put Bilstein 5100’s on my 21-F350. A year later I put on Fox 2.5’s (I didn’t pay for them, nor would I have). I honestly noticed a profound difference with ride quality. Before I would go down bumpy roads at 10mph, which now I go down at 20mph (and it feels smoother than the Bilstein 10mph). Knowing what I know now I’d go Fox 2.5’s in the front and Bilstein 5100’s in the rear (if I had to pay for the set up).
Love the content Arod!! Love the idea of collab with Ray!! When I do my DCR I’m driving out from Cali to have you do it!!
Come on thru, we have some good source to get ur pump from
I have been running the Fox 2.0 for almost three years now on my 2018 Kimg Ranch. I would never go back to OEM. When I put them on I noticed an immediate difference in handling, smoother ride and I no longer have the rear end bucking I had with OEM. As you mentioned, ARod, the washboard roads are far smoother. I drive from N. Texas to my ranch in Washington State often, it’s essentially a 4K round trip. The Fox 2.0 made all the difference in that drive. Thanks ARod, for your content. What took you so long to make the switch to Fox 2.0? We’ve had this discussion.
🤣🤣💙🫂
I have had these Fox shocks on two separate Super Duties. One was a 14 and one was a 17. They are a fantastic shock and ride Ride really well. On top of that they are a very high quality shocked. You're not going to find anything better quality as an OE replacement. But their one issue is their steals that they use are basically the same as what they use for their race shocks. And because of that they don't have a long life cycle. It seems like on average Buy around 30k they will start to leak or at least one on your vehicle will start to leak. That was my experience on both my trucks. So on my 22 I went with Bilstein 5100. I think the fox is a better riding shock but I went with the boss sign just because of their longevity this time so I don't have to replace them. After two years because of the mileage I'm driving now
I love my Billstein’s 👍🏼
I swapped over to Bilstein 5100’s on all 4 corners and the matching steering stabilizer at 10k miles on my 22 Duty. Definitely a better ride than stock, even when pulling our camper. I’ll admit, the Fox’s look better, but after reading so many reviews the Bilstein’s seemed like the better choice for a few reasons. Obviously I can’t compare, but I’d definitely get another set of the 5100’s if I had another Duty. Although, I doubt you will be unhappy with those Fox shocks either… especially over stock.
Tell me more! I’ve got a 22 lariat 250 6.7 FX4. I’m not impressed at all with the stock suspension. Been thinking about upgrading.
I went Fox 2.0 with the double steering stabilizer from the stock FX4’s. I found the Fox shocks bouncier if that makes sense yet softer. The softness was an improvement but it came at a slight cost over stock. I hear and read that the Bilstein is a solid choice. I’d start with less tire pressure and go from there.
I was looking at those til i found out that FOX recommends a rebuild every 50k miles of highway use and 10k of off road use.
My steering stabilizer is Bilstein and my shocks are fox 2.0 no regret.
I have fully optioned Carli Suspension system with king 2.5 diameter shocks (pintop system) Worth every penny as it is not a budget system.
Love mine, plus they can be rebuilt. I put boots one worried about the winter, then move to Florida
Also bro bring that thing to Rays we polish it and put a ceramic coating on. 😊

Fox make great products, but I don't understand why there are no booties included to protect the shafts. Those will be pitted up in no time.
In my opinion the steering stabilizers are definitely not needed unless maybe you have +37" tires. I've had 3 newer ford f350s and have had steering wobble in all of them, even the one I have now 2022 f350 with fox dual reservoirs adjustable shocks. It completely went away after I put 2 degree caster bushings in. It steers/feels better, night and day difference. even with bigger tires on the factory stabilizer.
This!!
Put the bilsteins on lol. The fox 2.0s I had barley made it 8k miles before they were rattling lol.
I’ve got the same shocks on my 20 F350 tremor. Would have gotten the resivoir set but unsure of leveling or lifting. Also went with the through shaft fox steering damper.
Hope you have better luck than me. 10k miles after having them on they leak from the reservoirs and end caps. But I also see a lot of rough roads so 2.0” probably aren’t big enough.
Well shit now i gotta do another video
I have a 17 Aluma. I ran the bilstiens before and i have the Fox 2.0 now. Level kit and 35s on 10 wide wheels. For me personally i really like the fox. I also love the dual steering stabilizer. Ive notice i get a lot longer run time between wheel alignments and most of my front end parts have lasted longer as well.
Been running Bilstein 5100's. Pretty convinced you can't make a 1 ton ride good.
I'm running the stock shocks still. But I want to get the fox 2.0 and later on get the fox steering stabilizer.
I have the Fox 2.0 and the double shocks for the steering.
Fox 2.0 on my ram, way better than any oem or stock replacement
I got Bilstein 4100. Not fancy, but great when daily driving and towing tt
@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod I'm running the King 2.5 oem shocks with the King upper stabilizer. Rides like butter with the Carli springs. What do you think about running your front tires at 40psi and the rears at 35psi for micro bumps?
Wiw!
That's kinda low for 10ply heavy-duty tires I think. Guess if you're not loaded up heavy or towing it shouldn't matter as much tho. Might wear your tires unevenly too. 🤔👍👌🛠️🔧🔩⛓️🚜🚧😄
@tdotw77 I'm running 37" Toyo MT's which are a 3ply D rating (I know what your thinking a D vs an E rating? The D Toyo have a higher tow cap than most E's). When I'm towing I run 50psi.
Hey Arod awesome content brother I like the auto repair videos man keep up the hard work. Can you do a video on how to replace a spark plugs on a Ford super duty F250 on the next video thanks for these types of videos man. I am new viewer on the channel my name is Tyler
Wait until you rebuild the front end to put the stabilizer on.
Run Falcon on my 19. Built more stout than fox and have two different settings.
This one from the archives? 😂🤣
One of the LAST
Lovn mine
I thought the 5100s were just for raised trucks, I got the yellow and blue bilsteins way better than stock
I hate that there’s no clear winner with super duty shocks. I mean even look at the comments here, one person loves the Fox another says too stiff. Another says billy steins another hates em…. It makes me think there’s no real difference between any of em for the road.
King 2.5's is the way. Buy once cry once.
I put the stabilizer on the Fox you won’t regret it
Meee wanty
Mine is running the fox 2.0 comes on the Roush
Oh wow!
Can you please turn off the Fans in the background, it is covering up your voice unless you are speaking directly into the microphone.
Hi sir I want to know about how you get news bulletin for ford
What’s your take on sulastic shackles?
I just put the Bilstein 5100s on the rear of my 2020 F250. Now I'm debating on what I should put on the front. How do you like your KO2 tires and are they OEM size? I put them on my truck at about 50k miles and I'm currently at 91k. I'm thinking they will last another 10k and I'll have to get a new set. They have been great tires so far with good tread wear.
Love em, stock size too
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod same here on the size. I'd definitely buy them again for my 3rd set since new.
looking to upgrade the suspension on my 2022 F450 i dont see many options out there. do you have any suggestions
I wld check PMF or give him a call. They bout 2 have 2 F450s
Carli upper and lower. You’ll pay but Carli don’t do anything half ass!
Carli is better, also their sway bar is a must have
Question: How many inches of thread was left over after the upper locknut was tightened? Im trying to dial in my fox shocks for my truck.
You go until you have tightened it, stopping at the end. It won't turn anymore
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod on the second go around I went and tightened it to have 5/8” of thread left, it rode good for about a day then everything went back to crap again. I’ll give it the old ugga dugga with the wrench. What tools did you use to install?
Do they make them for 2019 Edge ST with the Premo Brake Package ?? I got 21" wheels too .
Ooooof maybe, call up PMF
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod Unfortunately not from Fox....
I have a set of fox shocks to 2.0 I noticed on the badging you have the 6.7 it's in red how did you manage to get that
Ford parts dept
Are you saying pms suspension? Lol a name you won’t forget that’s for sure
No bro PMF, guess no one reads the descriptions anymore
No time to read lol
Whats a washboard road? Our roads are smooth 😂😂😂 guess thats a northern thing 😂😂😂😂. What are pot holes 😂
Country roads. Have many in my area in northern OK
Some people never drive on dirt roads.... Washboard roads are very, very common all over the united states. Pot holes are a different story
😂😂CP got the jokes today huh!? 〰️🌊🛣️🚦🚧🛑⚠️🚜🤔😄🛠️🔧🔩⛓️
Carry over video? I thought you quit Ford?
Ine of the last
I don’t know what was going on in this video but there was a lot of background noise which made it difficult to hear you.
Sorry
No Problem. 😉@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod
Is PowerStrock Tech on Facebook you? Or is someone stealing your videos?
Nope he stealing my videos l!!!! Nothing i can do
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod Do you have a Facebook page? I tried to report it, but it looks like I have to be your friend on Facebook.
I have multiple peiple have too. Fb i guess doesnt care
Give em 5 - 10k miles. Theyll break in.
I would first get rid of those hideous side steps.
Rancho rs 9000

Another good one is , Eibach
