Hi shawn and Charlotte this is a great little park. We need more of these here in the UK. Thankyou for sharing with us. Love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
It's a nice place for young children and families but it's mostly arcade than theme park but we need more places like this for Adults and thrillseekers alike
Recently discovered you guys after getting a merlin pass for my young family and doing some park research stumbled across the channel. Got to say you’re fantastic, feel like you could easily be presenters on tv in the future, natural, friendly and real genuine enjoyment what you’re doing. Keep it up guys
Fun fact, in my younger days, I once fell off the stage (may have been off a speaker) at the bar opposite side of the canal 😂 Always the first thing I think of when I see that area of Camden
Part of using the credit system is they can use the tiered pricing (you spend more, you get more credits per dollar), as well, they don't really want you knowing what you are spending without you having you do math which is ALWAYS fractional to make direct equivalent more difficult to do the math in your head quickly (for most people). And because its tiered, you don't always pay the same thing. You are less likely to pay knowing its $2.50 for a game or $5 ride, than an arbitrary amount of credits that does not directly equate to a cash value. When you have a screaming kid wanting to do stuff, the hidden true cost system has parents just paying whatever. They can also set strange prices (vs. whole pounds or say, 25 pence), for the equivalent of say $2.35 just to eek that much more cash out of you. It adds up. Its also how you end up paying $15 for a plastic spider from the prize station.
I went to Camden once this year and then a few days later Babylon park opened. I was pretty annoyed but hopefully I’ll go back to Camden and check this out. Great vid!
The other word is mascots at 01:55. I think it’s because of Christmas if that’s why they’ve lowered the prices. Yes, what a mess up at 09:55. Yes, more expensive than Yorkshire at 11:15. Anyhow, make sure you and Charlotte get out there and keep on riding.
Another great vlog. But if you are in London you should check out lift 109 at battersea power station it's amazing and as part of the queue line you go past some concept art where it shows a coaster they wear going to build around the power station but never did.
Thanks for bringing us vlogs of places we'd all love to go to, but never could. Thanks to you two, I literally thought id been to Parc Asterix, and then I realised, it was your vlog I was remembering!! Have you ever done Chester Zoo? It's local to me and I've always wished they'd add some rides. They recently added a underwater cable-driven scenic boat ride so to me that was a step in the right direction towards being like Busch Gardens. I don't think they have goats though...
Love that little theme park in Camden, London. I remember your first trip here earlier in the year and how quiet it was. As you say it was very expensive when first opened but if they have lowered the prices and increased ride time then fair play. Nice vlog TPW crew😉👍
Excellent video Charlotte and Shawn from Babylon Park located in Camden, London! This new indoor theme park opened back in June and features a variety of family rides all set within a space-themed environment. In this vlog, we share on ride povs from all of the major rides along with talking about the changes since our previous visit! keep the good videos coming on the channel., I can't wite to see the next one on the channel.
It seams a smaller family entertainment centre concept similar to the likes of Adventure Inside at Adventure island and Grand Pier at Western super mare. They have loads of these in the USA would love to see more in the future. Trafford centre maybe would be nice!
Interesting little park, hope to one day and at some point visit there, but at the moment. One park and attraction at a time. Planning to at somepoint before Christmas visit both London Dungeons & Winter Wonderland, so be a good Christmas this year. Think the dodgems in my opinion need to be bigger space as it looks cramped on that track, needs more space for all to move around in, think pay as you go system would work better aswell instead of online coins. Be easier, either way still making profit. Also, with expansion in future. With it being underground, could do you think in future get a few more coasters in there? If so, would love to see new permanent bigger coasters? Maybe in the dark coasters? With lighting etc. Aswell other interactive coasters? But overall, a good small park with loads of potential for the future. Cheers for filming, uploading and sharing. 😀👍
Great VLOG again - this is one of the only places I still haven't visited yet in the uk - will definitely have to check it out soon - the coaster looks great just a shame on the pricing structure which has obviously put a lot of people off - not being able to pay for a single ride for instance on top of the high prices is not great to say the least especially in the times we are in atm
I visited the place within 10 days of it opening, and managed to go on the Energy Recovery System (ERS) mini rollercoaster for free, which was fun. Young bloke just let me ride on it one time for free. Goes around the track three or four times. I also played with a couple of the amusements. I have to agree, purchasing the credits are a little expensive. The place is definitely full of more amusements and a lot more people are visiting nowadays. I enjoyed my visit overall and perhaps I will visit again in the near future to see how things have further improved, or if the place has closed down due to lack of visitors spending their cash in the place. These indoor amusement parks can only last so long. If there not making enough money, they'll just go out of business.
The dodgems looked brill love to have a gobi think they are better like that lol the whole place looks great fun and as you both said it is nice to see them taking notice of opinion I have many a good laugh at you both on the taggaton lol another great vlog guys thankyou I think I would even have gone on the ers xxxx
Personally I'm gutted they closed metroland in Gateshead, from memory they had a much bigger space and more rides, would love to see something similar return
I went after you went the first time and fortunately they did wise up to their prices being to high. To be fair for London it's not that bad. Despite looking very basic on video the coaster looks better in person also
Difficult to assess this place given the prices. Thinking any child under 14 is gonna love it here but the parents won't !! Lol. Did like the look of the Dodgems but could do with being a larger arena, I would have thought.
I don't understand why people are romanticising this place and saying it's great? It's literally arcade machines you'd get on the pier and some fairground rides. I don't get the hype? Plus I'm sure they make the charges confusing because they are overpriced, but it masks it by making it confusing on a loadable card! Not a criticism of you two at all, just genuinely don't get it.
Went there last week on Monday and bought the £15 card what you get just to do the rollercoaster and drop towers for a laugh and ended up with double the coins randomly
When ypu filmed 4 days after it opened it was £10 for 96coins, in this video 4 months ago its now £15 for 148 it hasnt got cheaper they've just put smoke over you're eyes, its a shame something like this out prices familys not well off
A good way of draining your money. Especially if you've got children. They should have a set price. Especially with the economic crisis at the moment. Love the idea though.
I've been wanting to go since before it opened but partly wanted to wait for prices to drop, partly just haven't been in the right area of london or had the spare funds/time when i am. Going to a gig in camden in april though so hopefully will finally go then :D
If you're going to look into new merch for the channel, please can we get a Helix...Helix...Helix tshirt or hoody!?! 😆
Or a green one. A BIG GREEN TRACK
Or " Themepark Worldwide on RUclips! Check it out" .. with a cartoony logo of Shawn and Charlotte .. looks cool and helping them out
Oh absolutely! Great idea
Love these ideas ❤
It just has to be done!
i remember the trocadero in lomdon having a drop tower! something fun about a small city indoor fun park! great vid as usual u guys crack me up! 🎉❤
It was epic!

Just done ERS for the first time. It has no right being that good! 😂Especially back row. It flies round that Helix! Really fun little coaster ❤
I'm going here for my joint birthday celebrations with my sister and friend. I'm actually so excited!

Brilliant vlog
Thank you!
I never even knew this place existed. I reckon Butlins could do with something like this in the skyline pavillions, what do you think?
Definitely
I think the coaster does 2-4 laps, with 3 as the standard.
Love it
Imagine living in that building and having a coaster in your basement lol
It would be pretty awesome!
I like that they have pinball. More pinball all around please theme parks !
Definitely!
Great vlog u guys really enjoyed this
Thanks Mick!
Great Vlog as always Shawn and Charlotte
Thanks!
It's so fun. Thanks for the video
Reminds me off sega World that was in London years back
Definately looking to go here with my dad over new year…will be a laugh for us both I think…
It’s definitely worth a visit!
Saw an ice cream stand - do they have my favourite flavour - rum & raisin?
I think so!

Thanks!
Can you use one card for multiple people because I was thinking of going with friends
How many tickets did Charlotte win on the basketball game Shawn
I haven’t yet visited yet to get the cred and the drop tower seems like a good little treat.
I found it funny when Charlotte screamed on the ride at 12:00. 12:03
aww simply cute!
Where do u get the card from do you ask someone for it or get it at reception 😊
From the machine or at the desk!
Great video guys. 👍
Thanks!
thats a small tagada but looks good shall have to visit
It’s not far off being £1 = 10 game coins and the coaster is roughly £4.80-£5
Went down there about a week after you went last time. Had the rollercoaster to myself. Could do with a couple of thrill rides
A pendulum ride would be great!
is the drop tower any good?
It’s pretty fun!
Really want to go as it is open all year, nothing is ever open all year and i hope to go soon!
Awesome
Personally I'm gutted they closed metroland in Gateshead, from memory they had a much bigger space and more rides, would love to see something similar return
It was such a great park!
They are looking at several sites to open more parks at, they are also heavily intersted in a site at medowhall
Definitely
Love your channel!
Thank you!
I'm curious on how they got a funfair ride downstairs
They have a door that leads outside to some form of access ramp!
Good video pal
Do you think you will ever do RUclips shorts I would love to see you do them
Possibly so!
Do you know if it’s open all year round??
It is indeed!
With the prices of energy going can you see this place surviving? Always seems so quiet
I can see them adjusting the pricing even more possibly in the future!
Can adults go on the spinning bouncy plane ride and the track ride
I believe so!
Awesome video
Thanks James!
I went after you went the first time and fortunately they did wise up to their prices being to high. To be fair for London it's not that bad. Despite looking very basic on video the coaster looks better in person also
I’m glad that they listened to the feedback!

How can you pay? Credits? Sounds a tad ominous
You pay for a top up card
Fantastic opening hours for this! Shame UK theme parks aren’t the same

That’s great!
London has more escape rooms crazy golf e golf carts
Namco funscape has the vr stuff
Seems pretty pricey when a ride on Odyssey costs less, but it is London so whatever

Early and hi🖐
Babylon zoo is better
Mario kart vr would be good in.that place
Location is good easy.to get too
A good way of draining your money.

I’d love to see them offer a wristband!
Woot woot! Been waiting to be first to like and Comment!
I hate to tell you but you're the second comment 😭😭💔
@@bingbongclankiecloop 🤣🤦♀️😖 so close!
I dont get why its mostly targeted to teens and young adults but the rides are baby rides
I’d love to see a new thrill ride here!
Def just tik tok hype
It was great to visit again!
