I'm sure I've said it before but I have to say again that your videos are the best around.The info you provide is extremely useful and you always give your honest and impartial opinion...unlike other vloggers I won't name who turn up and criticise the event, having not even stayed into darkness!! There are many people who do what you do but I am yet to find anybody who does it as good...that's why you should subscribe to this channel people.
The addition of more single rider queues were a god send when we visited for Oktoberfest, most were walk on for it as opposed to 45 minute and upwards queues
I hope Charlotte gets well soon before the end of Halloween so she can experience all of the mazes!

For every tree branch surrounding on the Oak tree that falls, someone will die.

Great to see AT in the dark! They really should do this more often. And yes red waterfalls on Nemesis was a nice touch.
Totally agree about the white lighting by Wickerman. We were trying to take a selfie and the white bulbs make it soo hard🤣🤣

Total- £183 give or take for a place that's unreliable. Went this year and 3 of the main rides was closed all day. Not to mention 5+ year old mazes.

Thank you Shawn for the vlog, we went last night for late night riding, the red and green lighting looks great. We watched Sin Bin and really enjoyed it. Wondered if you had seen that the Tower Street food stall are selling the hot dogs for £5?. Hope Charlotte feels better soon. Since you shared with us the UV aspect after leaving Curse of Alton Manor we turn around to look at each others face, we haven't laughed so much in ages 😊
i think the new flat ride is going to fit really nicely because you don’t want too much black and red black and red, i think the two pillars will hold a big themeing peice like green chemical tubes and a dark green colour scheme on the ride would be cool! Love the video!

I was there on saturday and waited 45 minutes to do a night ride on nemesis only for it to break at 7.29 pm when I got on it and I didn't really have that much time left until my taxi showed up. That why forbbiden valley was so quiet a huge amount of people left at that point
I hope with the new content creator scheme the park will listen to ideas and feedback from the likes of Shawn and Charlotte because they always have great ideas. Love watching their videos!

shame about the rapids honestly, used to be one of my favourite scarefest night rides. was always a great laugh. really looking forward to heading over on halloween itself for my first scarefest visit in a good few years :D

I love towers and think they are very slowly going in the right direction. I do get worried about the future with the budget cuts and all the plans of the indoor coaster and anything after the flat going quiet.

Really enjoyed Scarefest yesterday (I've only been to the event twice, first time was last year). Finally went on Th13teen for the first time, had decent run-throughs on the scare mazes and got to do night rides for the first time too, ending the night off with Wicker Man. Overall, solid day at Towers.
It’s a great event this year, especially Compound and rides in the dark!
Cannot beat ending the day on Nemesis with its lighting

Alton Towers is amazing ESPECIALLY at night time.
Runaway mine train must have the best ride operators. Managed a 5 lap special last Friday night. One more time!😄

Hi Shawn and Charlotte I hope Charlotte back is getting better I went to Thorpe park Saturday just gone I had I wonderful time with the family my favourite ride was hypera what a great rollercoaster the best I been on I am off to Alton towers Saturday week looking forward to nemies reborn I just been playing planet coaster at the moment I can’t wait till planet coaster 2 comes out you can build water parks

I think Rita will be the first coaster to go. It’s dull after the launch, parks are getting rid of hydraulic launches. They should make it double launch LSM with rear spike at the start. Make it go through the woods like thirteen.
Those generators are a sore thumb in the eye .. IF i was Alton, i would make like a ''woodenbox'' to camouflage the generator a bit
paint it black and spray the logo of the Phalanx onto it and for every section of the park a different symbol ... a cheap solution, but who am i !

This ride is braking down so much,they should either repair and replace faulty parts for good or retire the ride and maybe turn it into a real good haunted house with hologrames etc in the lines of haunted mansion,

To be fair If you look at all merlin park reliability alton towers is the highest on that list!! Followed by lego land or drayton then thorpe..... but we don't talk about thorpe although i have been paying a close eye and most rides have been opening by 10:30 most day and at most over the past few week at most only 2 main coasters have been down but the average is 45 minutes...

Bianca needs leggin now !the park is at its worst its ever been from how run down its looking to reliability to lack of investment to shocking opening times and Thompson at Blackpool pleasure beach is no better either both parks needs new management in and a fresh start with big plans and investment
If universal UK gets built this park is dead, its been badly run for so long now
Universal UK will be at a much higher price point than Towers, and probably much less focused on thrill coasters which are still a big draw

There is indeed and we’ve done many of them over the years! Alton Towers is our home park and we always like to cover this time of year in as much detail as possible 😃

@jameshetfielddd86 Charlotte hasn't been very well since they got back from california and also having a back problem so maybe just maybe they would like to be close to home. And also being there home park they always like to do very detailed vlogs which I personally think is great as I also love AT.

It’s such a pity the uk parks don’t have rides in the dark until they close for winter, even if it was 7 or 8pm. Such a shame because the parks are so much more immersive in the dark with all the lighting, it’s an experience in itself, I wouldn’t mind if they opened at 11am until 8. Hey ho. 🫤
