I bought a small USB fan that I put in my suitcase so I can travel with it. I CANNOT sleep without a fan!
I have to have a fan because my little cat is a furnace and I wake up overheated without a fan.

Yes me too. 🙋🏻♀️Something about the sound of the fan. And the air hitting me while I’m covered completely and hugging my blanket. Ohh I’ll fall 😴 quick.
They make reusable k-cup pods that you can put your own coffee grounds in! I used to do that all the time with the coffee over cardio grounds

I've worked in veterinary medicine for 10 years. And we constantly use white noise in our clinic to help be as fear free as possible we created a certain type of music that we play in the rooms and in our kennels it helps tremendously.. 💖❤️💖
As a fellow night shift person (8yrs on nights as a police dispatcher, 8hr,10hr & now 12hr shifts). I started off nights just sleeping my life away up to 12-15hrs and never had sugar or caffeine so I wouldn't become dependent. Somehow it worked for a long time, now I do have unsweetened tea at work and coffee on my days off if I want it. I do have the awesome black out curtains, fan on and netflix or prime for shows.. I need the background noise to sleep, silence wakes me up as weird as that sounds! One suggestion, it may be difficult for you because of all the stuff that you feel like needs to be done - it can be done on your days off. The stuff weighs on your mind, knowing that you have to do it prevents the sleep and it only gets worse. Sleep is so important because of the night shift life, I feel your pain sometimes ; o )
I agree, I’ve been working night shift for 5 years and I find that when I’m worried about waking up to do something I have a harder tile sleeping. So with 12 hrs shift I technically have 4 days off if I don’t pick up overtime, so I leave all of my “to-do” for my days off.
I wish we were friends 😂 we could start a girl gang of nurses who are obsessed with their pups

Night shift nurse x9 years. I got a 15 lb weighted blanket a couple months ago and it's seriously been LIFE CHANGING!!!! I fall asleep within minutes and (usually) stay asleep.

I love your Kaiser voice. ❤️ I’ve actually been following your lead with taking snacks to work. Eating can be very unpredictable at the vet clinic I work at so I’ve been taking fruit and nuts to snack on in case my lunch break plans get tossed out the window.

I love my ninja!! I have the one with a frother! There’s so much you can do with it, and it does all kinds of tea too!
I use the reusable pods so I can use grounds, and my keurig has the option to make a carafe with larger pods! I love it because we can still do single cups when one person wants a cup, or a carafe if we have visitors.
Keurig does make a coffee maker with the single cup and a pot. It’s ok rollback for $80 at Walmart right now. Just got mine and love it. I also use a reusable k cup and put grounds in it!

Get the Ninja Specialty Coffee maker. I have it and it's amazing. You can make regular coffee, iced coffee, and specialty coffee. It comes with a frother. So essentially you can make a lot of the different coffee. Plus side is it can make how much you want from a mug size to a full pot

The biggest game changer for me as a night shift nurse was black out blinds with black out curtains on top. When I just had the blackout curtains, I still felt like too much light got through. Blackout blinds are the BOMB and so underrated!
The pancake mix is soooo good! Especially for a protein pancake.
I've been showing the nurses at my hospital your videos and you have revolutionized the lunch bags and work bags of nearly a dozen of them! I use a lavender pillow spray when I need to sleep for night shift so maybe that will help? I adore your videos!

I just started a night shift ICU job and girrrrrrrllll.. if you haven’t tried the blackout window clings you need to! They’ve been a lifesaver! I found them on Amazon. 🤗
