I pray this review of the flat irons in comparison to the babybliss is genuine and completely honest, because I just canceled my prima to get this unknown, that was very costly! No refunds once delivered! Oh boy! But you sold me at the burning fingers and digital gauge. Plus your hair was just as silky! I used your very helpful affiliate code! Wishing me luck, lbvs!!
Hi Carla! Thanks for watching and being honest :) The Babyliss Prima 3000 is a great iron, but I've burned myself so many times because of those outside plates. And the "cool tip" on the prima is surrounded on all sides by more titanium that heats up, so the silicone gets extremely hot. I'm not sure if you watched my "Silk Press with Curls video", but I explained that a little there. It also has preset temps, and jumps from 410 to 465, which is extremely high. My sweet spot is around 425. I still love that iron, but those are two cons for me, and I feel as though the Anointed Hands iron is safer to use at home for non-professionals, given the level of customization you can get with the temperature. I'll still use my prima when I want larger curls (given that the plates are wider than the Anointed Hands salon), but I plan on using the Anointed Hands iron or everything else. They both have titanium plates, so at the end of the day, it will all boil down to preference. I hope this helps! You also just supported from a black-owned, small business by taking a chance. Please come back and tell me how it worked for you.
@@beautyadvocate will report back, thanks! And I did watch that video, when I was researching the 3000 is how I found cha. One thing you didn’t elaborate on, do you feel the Anointed iron presses your hair as straight and light as the 3000 if not better? The videos look neck and neck! Btw your hair is GORGEOUS
