I agree. Although talking about what those jokers on The View are saying is a step down from usual quality of content on FM. I wish they'd just ignore this trash and focus on better things.
The Republicans got a full deck. I think that is pretty damning to the Democrats. My concern now is that the Republicans stick to popular practical issues and not prostrate to special interests or spend their time virtue signaling.
"I don't want to have to show my immigration papers when I'm pulled over for speeding" - that's the point of the Real ID act (which is federal law . . .), which *some* states have managed to comply with already. I think it's perfectly reasonable to say we don't give driver's licenses to illegal aliens, and legal aliens have "not a US citizen" stamped on their driver's licenses.
I very much hope a lot of these alphabet departments (NSA, SBA, DOE, etc.) do indeed get the axe, and a lot of dumb laws like the Jones Act and the Patriot Act go away. But I also remember the Contract with America and how the Republicans fumbled that. They again have a golden opportunity to rein in the government; we just have to wait and see if they can follow through.
She jus made a very good point. If he can expedite those hearings and make not checking in illegal, you can weed out people who are likely to break more laws
Amber and Emily Jasinsky are two of my favorite female commentators from the center/right. Intelligent and poised even when debating contentious issues. You can't help but listen to what they have to say.
People often say that their candidate has a "mandate" no matter how narrow the win. But yeah, Trump and the Republican party will have more control this time than they did four years ago. And that's more important than any perceived mandate.
I’m not sure if counting California is fair when considering popular vote. Trump was up by 15 million votes but as they keep counting California it went down to..2m?
I'm shocked!😮 SHOCKED I TELL YOU! 😱 That The View would take such a position! 😵 Actually, I'm not that shocked ... it's the freakin View! 🤡 Do Robby and Amber get paid extra for having to watch that tripe? 🙂
So help me, if the R's go NEOCON after we sent the clear message we want the Tulsi's of the world setting foreign policy, I"ll never vote for either party again
I don't think Robbie and Amber get enough credit. I mean Robbie was against the mandates the wrecked everything. Wonder why they don't talk to daily wire people
Watching these two together is great! I keep waiting for Nomiki to pop out of a DNC garbage can like Oscar the grouch but Robbie and Amber somehow keep her at bay 😉
They both had a mandate. When you win you have a mandate. However, a decent president would recognize that where an election is as close as this, they need to listen to the losing side.
Calling an election win a mandate is just a way to doing every ridiculous thing Trump said he would during the campaign. Most people wanted him to do some of the things he said he would, most of them cited the economy without understanding his proposed fixes wont achieve the claimed outcome. Few people want the full scope of Trump unleashed on the country. Saying that his mandate is clear is the typical low bar reasoning Robby regularly brings to the table.
Why do some Americans think a socialised leads to rationing? You have rationing now. Some people get a big ration, some a small ration and some no ration. You have rationing, just your mostly happy to accept an unfair system of rationing.
One form of rationing is done by a government bureaucracy while the other is (theoretically) on a free and open market. The latter being the lesser of two evils.
The presidential mandate theory-the idea that an election victory gives the president a clear directive to pursue specific policies-is flawed for several reasons. Elections are complex, with voters influenced by a wide range of factors, such as personality, party loyalty, and opposition weaknesses. As a result, it is difficult to interpret a clear message from election outcomes. Low voter turnout further complicates this claim, as many eligible voters abstain, leaving a large portion of the population unrepresented. Additionally, the U.S. Electoral College can produce presidents who lose the popular vote, undermining the concept of majority support. Campaign rhetoric often lacks specificity, and voters may support candidates for reasons unrelated to their platforms, including disapproval of opponents. Moreover, the U.S. system of checks and balances limits the president’s ability to act unilaterally, particularly if Congress is controlled by the opposition. History has shown that presidents who claim mandates often overreach, leading to political backlash. Ultimately, the mandate theory is more rhetorical than substantive, serving as a justification for sweeping action rather than reflecting true consensus. Effective governance requires negotiation and compromise, not reliance on the flawed assumption of unanimous voter support.
Lol that's not how it works he has 100% mandate time to sort the US out. I'm sure they are finding lots of Kamala votes to make it look closer Strange she had somehow increased her vote tally after getting trounced
@ 😆😆😆😆 I’m not fallin for all that mess. Almost as many people voted against Trump as for him. I’ll say he has a mandate if he keeps a majority of the popular vote. But it’s BARELY a mandate. He’s no Jackson, Teddy, or Reagan. But he will be president and I hope he does a great job. I just won’t hold my breath.
🗳️ ~ First, 50.2% of the popular vote is not a mandate. Not even close. And something tells me the people who think it is did not say the same thing when Obama won by a massively larger amount in the popular vote AND the electoral college vote. He one state nobody thought was possible. Yet the Republicans never gave an inch to any supposed “mandate”. Second, I don’t even know what his mandate would be, if there is one. A lot of people didn’t understand things he were saying. They didn’t understand what a tariff was, and a lot of people wanted to change their vote afterward. Obviously it doesn’t matter now, but it is interesting. And more than anything, a lot of people thought he was just being hyperbolic with the other stuff which they didn’t really support, they just wanted the new migrants taken out and the economy to be better. They don’t know anything about those issues, but they want to fix. P.S. The problem with our society, among other things, is people now you politic solely as a sports game. That people pick aside and pretty much rude on that side and hate the other side no matter what. Can’t we just focus on actually being an objective society and a consistent one. That along with honesty would be great. But I am terrified for the future this country based on the conspiracy theories and unnecessary fear and division and outright hate. I think many people in politics want that to happen for their own benefit and some wanted to happen because they want to tear apart the country and build it up to what they want to be.
I know right? Remember when they said it came from a wet market? When Russia colluded in our election? When the safe and effective thing stopped the spread? Six feet did something? There were good people on both sides? Soldier's that died were suckers and losers? Masks worked so well you should wear two? Tulsi was an Asad toadie? Etc. etc. I am also sick of conspiracy theories
Did the evil repubs spoil your cake and ice cream social??? Calm down, take your meds and open a fresh box of wine.....there there isn't that better now.....

Amber always brings receipts! Young lady is so sharp!
This is the best Reason program
We glad you enjoy our show!
@@ReasonTVMe glad you here to.
Much better show than the hill
Risung can be pretty good, but it's mostly Robby and Amber ai'm looking to hear from anyway.
I agree. Although talking about what those jokers on The View are saying is a step down from usual quality of content on FM. I wish they'd just ignore this trash and focus on better things.
How can you say that about the View 😮
The Republicans got a full deck. I think that is pretty damning to the Democrats. My concern now is that the Republicans stick to popular practical issues and not prostrate to special interests or spend their time virtue signaling.
Yup! No excuses, I don't wanna hear "America first, but uh, uh Israel needs another $100 billion"
The View's hosts and their audience are the best argument in favour of abolishing the 19th amendment.
Ask them if they are in favor of ending women's suffrage.....🤣
Amber should be the one on MSM leading the news. Thatd be trustworthy news.
Fuck yea
3:12 Yes, Robby, they majority does.
Yes, they do. That's why they voted for Trump.
"I don't want to have to show my immigration papers when I'm pulled over for speeding" - that's the point of the Real ID act (which is federal law . . .), which *some* states have managed to comply with already.

These two have their own show? They're the best hosts on the Hill.
I very much hope a lot of these alphabet departments (NSA, SBA, DOE, etc.) do indeed get the axe, and a lot of dumb laws like the Jones Act and the Patriot Act go away. But I also remember the Contract with America and how the Republicans fumbled that. Every temporary agency should show why they should stay permanent. CIA or TSA etc.
Hey, guys!! ❤ Great to see you two together. How did I miss this channel ?
In her defense… Vanna White would probably do a better job than our career politicians.
She jus made a very good point. If he can expedite those hearings and make not checking in illegal, you can weed out people who are likely to break more laws
Love Ambers reasoning, give this woman 👩 a MSM contract...
This is the Lincoln band of rivals that he promised. We need this, steel sharpens steel only with friction.
So far this is the most watchable and objective compared to BP
Amber and Emily Jasinsky are two of my favorite female commentators from the center/right. Intelligent and poised even when debating contentious issues. You can't help but listen to what they have to say.
It seems the American people know more about politics than the journalists and reporters.
People often say that their candidate has a "mandate" no matter how narrow the win. But yeah, Trump and the Republican party will have more control this time than they did four years ago. And that's more important than any perceived mandate.

Lol they absolutely said it was a mandate.
They said it was a mandate for absolutely crazy "Rooseveltian" (their words) far-left policies!
Thanks!
Thank you for your support!
I'm shocked!😮 SHOCKED I TELL YOU! 😱 That The View would take such a position! 😵
Actually, I'm not that shocked ... it's the freakin View! 🤡
Do Robby and Amber get paid extra for having to watch that tripe? 🙂
No doubt, they should get hazard pay due to the risk of substantial and permanent loss of IW from that stupid show.
Who seriously cares what anyone on The View thinks?
If he is fighting the release of the report, it must be presumed that it is unfavorable to him.
I'm no fan of Trump. But knowing his picks is a great thing. You KNOW them. There are very little surprises.
The issue amber is that no one is going to use the CPB-1 app if it’s used to deport them
Did she just mispronounce the vice president's name? 🤣🤣🤣
The peasants are coming with pitchforks.
10:28 what about the $10M+ annual fund to pay off all the other congressmen? Why is that hidden?
Most previous Rupublican man dates occurred in the MSP mens room.
It wouldn't be '24, if we weren't haggling over semantics
No he has dropped out
So help me, if the R's go NEOCON after we sent the clear message we want the Tulsi's of the world setting foreign policy, I"ll never vote for either party again
Matt Gaetz just withdrew, so I wonder how it will shake out after this.
Whoopi is on TV, and she looks brutal.
For what it's worth, count me in with the pro mass deportation crowd. It's bewildering to think not doing so is acceptable.
Nobody said Biden had a mandate? He sure acted like he had a mandate.
I don't think Robbie and Amber get enough credit. I mean Robbie was against the mandates the wrecked everything. Wonder why they don't talk to daily wire people
Can someone tell me why there is a step ladder in the background?
They have eclectic studio design?
Watching these two together is great! I keep waiting for Nomiki to pop out of a DNC garbage can like Oscar the grouch but Robbie and Amber somehow keep her at bay 😉

This election was a blowout. Too big to rig.

"somewhat extremely serious", Robby, really?
Reason dictates it doesnt matter how many oeople agree, right is right and wrong is wrong, even if the rest of the world says otherwise
I like Amber better, she destroyed that one commie woman before that was hilarious a couple weeks ago.
View is delulu
Did Robbie leave the other show he was on?
No.
What's the intro song!?
Who watches the view??

History
Amber duke reminds me so much of the actress Abby Cornish from the Jack Ryan tv series..
I dig amber duke 😂 😁

Barely winning a majority of the popular votes (and he may not once the votes are fully counted) is barely a mandate.
Subtract 20 million illegal votes from Kamilla.
Lol that's not how it works he has 100% mandate time to sort the US out. I'm sure they are finding lots of Kamala votes to make it look closer Strange she had somehow increased her vote tally after getting trounced
You didn't subtract the 14 million fake ones....

Come on, guys. The View? Again? Why?
Because the nail isn't fully hammered yet
We like watching train wrecks.
The fact that you actually give a fuck what those things say about anything says a lot about you.

You lost badly get over it. Hopefully the woke rubbish will be terminated we can go back to 2 genders and start MAGA properly
And you think they understood Kamalas word salad? Lol
