The lack of "resistance" this time is due to the fact that Trump is appointing people who will squash it. Last time around being part of the "resistance" cost nothing. This time it may cost your cushy job and your pension.
So why did they not tape the 'interview' this is schocking and sends schockwaves deep into Europe, we are super dissapointed in the USA people and will never (!) watch MSNBC again!! 🥶

Is this little speech pretentious or what? Starting at 44 secs. People are so over this snootiness. Reminds of the scene in the excellent mini-serious "Saddam" by HBO where Saddam's son-in-laws go back to Saddam after exile. The humiliation was off the charts. Trump certainly gave them a warmer welcome and treated this dynamic duo a lot better.
I'm a libertarian, so it's not like I like Kamala, but this business about a "landslide" or "mandate" is just silly, when 49% of the electorate voted against your candidate.
While I agree with you about the popular vote note. I would believe that the Mandate more comes from the fact that not only did the Republicans win the presidency but the house, the Senate and even majority of governors. Which makes it less of a direct mandate but more of a rebuke of recent Democrat activities. If that makes sense.
So your argument is that because no one watches or reads the dozens of left leaning outlets anymore then Trump must’ve been covered fairly? Have you considered nobody consumes these outlets narratives anymore because they are so unfair and disconnected?
Maybe you don't understand statistics. Lets say Fox is the largest and gets 20% viewership of all viewers of media. CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC and NBC each get 16%. So Fox is the biggest, but still the majority of people are watching other broadcasts. So Trump can still be unfairly covered by most news broadcasts while being fairly covered by the largest. All of this is just an example. I made this example up to demonstrate how statistics can be manipulate.
Either you're joking, or you don't really know TDS is. Not embracing Trump's policies and ideas doesn't qualify. You have to take a highly irrational and hysterical approach to practically anything Trump does or says.
@@macsnafu You don't know Reason and the stances it has had against Trump over the years. Initially and decades ago, I even had a paid subscription to the magazine but then it started acting less and less libertarian as the decades progressed. Yes, you read that right. Decades. Trump was just another milestone in this decline. Probably being the play toy of the Koch brothers was most responsible for this. I still subscribe this RUclips channel to just keep tabs on it but have long ago discounted it as a voice of libertarianism and definitely not as a voice of reason. I do enjoy its Remy and "Unintended Consequences" videos but just roll my eyes when they click into TDS mode.
@@JackDecker63 Well, I can't say that I've consistently followed Reason over the years, but I did start reading the magazine back in the early 90s, so I think I have a pretty good idea of what they've been like. A little inconsistent, but not terribly so. And mentioning Koch is a red herring. Whatever influence the Koch brothers might have had on Reason was gone long before 2016 when Trump won his first term. Besides, it's a mistake to not consider what some actually says on its own terms, regardless of who's paying them.
@macsnafu Oh, I am not saying Reason is inconsistent. Not at all. Their decline as a voice for libertarianism has been very consistent. What hasn't declined is their knee-jerk TDS. Koch brothers likely caused most of it but it has never gone away.
@@JackDecker63 This is really a bunch of BS. Show me where Reason has called Trump a fascist dictator intent on ruling for life and unaliving all the jews and blacks, and you might have a point. Or have you forgotten all the liberal, *actual* TDS comments? The real difficulty for Reason, in my opinion, of course, is that they cover so many different issues, they're not sure what to focus on. Not a lack of principles, but a sea of data and details.
