There wasn't much Biden could do about it without declaring war on Texas. The problem is Biden actively engaged in human trafficking with his open border policy. How does the next administration walk that back without violating the 'asylum seekers' rights to due process. You start by deporting the one's who are committing crimes and violating their parole (catch and release). Institute self-deportation. In 1776, & years beyond, we NEEDED several weeks to report the votes throughout the States, because of our efforts to communicate with each others; we also needed to have the States’ Electors to travel to DC to deliver their votes. Now that we have near instant communication, & can get across the mainland (and Hawaii) within 24 hours, perhaps we SHOULD at least shorten the time between the election & the President- Elect to be sworn into office! It would maybe stop these attempts to add votes that shouldn’t be added after the fact!
I have thought about this as well, but it is a dangerous prospect in one aspect. Digital voting has always been dangerous. You can indeed cheat with paper ballots, but it is harder, and there is a definitive paper trail that has to be effectively eliminated. There is nothing digital that is demonstrably safe from hacking, as the numerous massive data breaches in modern times of supposedly impervious systems, all extremely encrypted and impossible to hack, keep in mind. At that point, results are indeed faster, but a single backdoor into the system equates to a single theoretical person choosing who gets elected, with no evidence left whatsoever of the act if that backdoor was by design.
