Another fine video I thought that the black connection plug were gold plated thank you keep on having fun scrapping I know that I do thanks to you two thumbs
I hate when the beige PC's fake you out and only have pinless CPUs. I really enjoyed your talking about how long it took to create your "overnight success" and the ins/outs of a scrapping biz. It's a good lesson for all the folks who are new to this. Yes, you can be successful and build a good business, channel and following. But it takes time and effort. I make no bones about being one of those little scrapping businesses that got my start because of you. I'm damn proud to be among Ben's worldwide network of scrap businesses.
That is true with the entertaining videos. Street scrapping videos are so entertaining, because it will always be a surprise, what you might pick up next. You could compare it with the unwrapping of a birthday present. And melting copper and other metals is interesting for four reasons: 1. men´s love for metals, 2. the power of the fire 3. the process of converting small, unshiny, asymmetric particles into one symmetric block 4. the collection of it on a big shelve as any prepper does. Like in the "Fallout" games. Converting nothing into something, and be prepared the best way. So, if you want to increase the number of viewers, insert a few melting videos and more street pick ups.
I enjoy watching both your scrapping e waist and the street scraping videos, I learn quite a bit of interesting things about what's in our everyday products and what value there may be.
👍you know when you talk about clearing the garage someone rings up about a pickup and the garage is full again, congratulations on the 100k subscribers 👍
Me and my girlfriend look forward watching your videos she says your a bit of a mystery she says you cast a big shadow when street scrapping she said your good at explaining everything.
You wouldn't have 100,000 subs if your video's were boring I've been a sub for almost 3 years now and loved every video and enjoy listening to everything you say. utube button hear we come
You are a smart person ben. I know it probably comes with age. But most of this stuff I learned when I was eleven years old. A movie called "zigtegist" didn't spell it correctly but I'm sure you can understand. That movie opened my eyes to a lot of things in the world and I was into that kind of thinking for the rest of my life after. It is refreshing to hear people talk about the real things of the world and what could happen if things hit the fan. Plus great scrap video lol I always watch you
I imagine a building where you scrap computers on the first floor and you have holes in your desk with pipes that go to containers one floor below. You just throw stuff into holes and they land in containers, bags downstairs ready to be taken to processing. Hard drives, batteries, cables, scrap metal etc. I guess you could do few station with pipes leading to containers. I wonder how much more efficient such scrapping would be. No need to clean anything as everything would land where it should during the dismantling process.
@@toomaskotkas4467 it can also be a hall with raised floor such as they have in warehouses. I guess it’s quite big investment though... with scrap prices so high maybe it would make sense but when the prices get low again...
@@volkhen0 I would say that recycling business still has potential despite prices on commodities. Yes, sure, the prices of steel, aluminum, copper etc. can go down, but with the ecological movement becoming more and more influential, at some point you can even have a government subsidy to help with the cost of operation. It surely beats burring all the garbage in the desert.
I am from Canada, I watch your video's right to the end every time. I'm trying to learn this stuff but memory is a bit short at times. Was wondering if you would consider doing a video on how to identify different things where to find them in the various things and what the value (what it contains) of it is .
Hi Ben. Great video. Please stay safe and healthy and take care of yourself and your family members. To all members also. Talk to you later my friend. ☺☺☺😇😇😇
I enjoy your style of video And I also enjoy other styles of videos. I only have so much time to watch/listen. I work all day and can only listen and glance at the videos occasionally on my phone. You've hit 100 K without a huge amount of editing. Which i I know from experience takes a lot more time. Some people have a way of making their video into a mini movie. And they rewarded with more subs. But they are possibly putting in sooooo much time. Yours is almost like a podcast to me. I hit the play button and continue making money myself.....and occasionally I'll look at the video to see what you're talking about. Either way I know I can count on 1-2 hours without having to mess with my phone again. You do repeat a lot of what you say (Sorry one kind criticism) but I think you probably know that. And I would have no idea what to talk about for that amount of time as well. That could be one of your hurdles. If I had more followers on my videos I'm afraid I would let them down because I don't have much time to keep putting out the videos. I have 10 videos waiting right now to be edited. I simply don't have the time. If you were here in my city I would definitely buy you a beer. You have given many people tips and ideas all these years. Some of your subs have said they want to scrap more, some have said it's not worth it and they want to do it less or not at all. Either way you have given me the most info on e-waste then any of the other 5-10 channels that I listen to regularly. I've always been in the middle. I enjoy e-waste scrapping but probably won't get rich off of it. I've actually been hoarding for the 10 or so years that I've collected e-waste. More so in the past 2-3 years. Rental properties make me the most money. Reselling, trash picking, scrapping etc. all come 2nd. I think Warren Buffett once said to "do what you know". That is how you can probably make the most money. 100K subs is awsome. You just need to decide if you want to be a RUclipsr or or a recycler. Either way i just wanted to say thanks for the time you have put in. You have actually put money into my pocket.👍👍👍 Wow this comment was way too long. Cheers
