    Dear everyone,
This is the companion video to my Photoshop Memo Pads tutorial here: • Photoshop Risograph Tu...
In this video, I go through my full process of making my Strawberry memo pads DIY, from my design inspiration to illustration all the way to finishing.
Before I made this video, I experimented on a few different ways to glue the pads together and tried to follow some tutorials on RUclips, but in the end, I came up with my own way that works for me. Therefore, I also recommend that you try experimenting with different ways to put together your own pads or take what you can from my video.
One thing I didn't mention in my video that I think is also important is that you should glue along the grain, not across from it. If you would like to know more about grain, I talk about it briefly in my DIY booklets video: / m-2bh2jgxh
I performed an experiment gluing along and across the grain, and what I found was that gluing across the grain produced excessive buckling or warping from the moisture/application of the glue. I think the results are best when you glue in the grain long direction, by which I mean orient the papers in the same direction as the grain.
I truly found the whole process to be very fun, and I will definitely be making more designs. Would you be interested in me making a video about those too? Please let me know in the comments below.
Meanwhile, if you like, you can purchase my memo pads from this video to support my channel at oliviaandpindo....
Thanks and see you again soon,
    Olivia

I really wish you would get back to creating videos. You inspired my studio. Now I have printers, industrial trimmers, booklet makers, and more. All inspired be you and one other commercial digital press channel. He showed me all that was possible from a business side but you showed me the art and happiness side. You make it seem so rewarding and artistically fulfilling. Your channel helped me to slow down and actually enjoy the process and that made all the difference. Both of you stopped publishing around the same time, but he just returned and my fingers are crossed that you will as well.

Thanks so much for your kind words! I had a baby last year so I haven’t had the time to film, but I haven’t given up on the channel! I am so happy to hear of your journey and wish you continued success!! ❤

Great vid. I like it when the pad is even on the bottom, for smooth turning without accidentally picking up 2 sheets. But this would require the bottom trim to happen after the pad is already assembled. Unless you've just got the best jogging ability ever... I've never been able to get sheets to be as perfectly flush as trimming them together.

AMAZING VIDEO AS ALWAYS THANK YOU.
question : i'e seen that the ink didnt bleed on the verso of the page, even tho you applied loads of pressure on the stack : is it because of the paper quality? the stock that i have bleeds a lot even with the pressure of the trimming machine

I use a 70 lb or 105gsm paper and the ink is not too heavy! Thanks!
