Old Pueblo Coin
NGC kills me with their "cleaned" designation. Its a coin from 1590, what do you expect
Beautiful pieces of history. Thanks for showing them to us.
Great coins with very interesting history. Cobs circulated from North America to as far as Asia.
There's definitely an opportunity for someone to counterfeit these coins because of their roughness. I wouldn't dream of buying one if it weren't slabbed.
Wow! Would love to add some of those in my collection
Thx for sharing 👍 great video enjoyed it 😀 cool coins
I think those coins are interesting but I've never considered owning one. Truthfully I probably never will but they are neat to look at. Thanks for sharing those!
Cobs, predecessors of cobbled narrow streets traveled by cobblers with worn aprons and...smoking cob pipes...hoping one day to find the yellow brick road paved in gold from the lost pirates...Ben knows the rest of story, he's a descendant of the hurricane survivors....
Fantastic! 👍
I'm sorry....but if it sinks in the ocean or digging it up I'm buying......absolutely love the history
I recall Molina jewelers having an Atocha sales event / display in the 80s or 90s.
Nice! Love seeing Escudos.
Ahoy, matey. Tie that scurvy dog to the yardarm. Love pirate coins.
I dont watch movies......... but I love the sound of pirate treasure.
I love coin jewelry🥰
Great video keep them coming
Great historical items!
HI BEN. VERY NEAT COINS. *TYU*
I've been waiting for a bust 8 reales video but this will hold me over
😊
Awesome, I have visited Mel Fisher's museum in Key West, such an interesting place.
On my wish list now
How can the grading companies really really know those are genuine?? Except the ones salvaged. I bought a couple of these graded. Sometimes I wonder. I would not touch those raw.
They found that ship in 1985 not the 70s
Ben, raider of the lost pirates.....!
I do have some old Spanish silver. Quite unique coins 🪙
There are still a lot of cobs in the southern states.
Nice coin
Lots of history there. I would love to own one or some of them
It's very hard to find a figure on the amount of gold on board the Atocha, but it wasn't much. They all give the gold and silver combined weight. After much reading I did find that there were only 121 gold coins on board. There were also some gold chains.
are any of these still for sale? :)
What would one with no paper work be valued 1657
Are these pieces available for purchase?
Its too big for a 4 reales. Definitely an 8.
I’d love to buy a Spanish shipwreck gold coin 🪙😎
