Where did you buy you German crepe paper whilst you were in the UK? The Extra Fine is really difficult to buy (thanks to Brexit) and appears to only be available with Lia Griffith, which adds a tone of postage cost when being sent from the States.

We have the same problem here in Canada too, it can be pretty tricky to get hold of!

Arlo Arts have a similar version, it is very slightly different in that it has slight machine lines on the heavyweight crepe, and has different colours but it’s a good option. Lionshome and Amazon also sometimes carry it.
