    Michelle, it was delightful to spend time with you in this video. You have such a lovely friendly conversational way of talking to us. I felt like we were in your studio making paper flowers together. I’m not sure if you’re still making videos, but I really hope that you are.

      Hi Erica, that’s so lovely to hear, thanks so much for the feedback! I hope you enjoy making the flowers! I’m currently taking a little break for maternity leave, but I am working on some new videos as and when I can, they just take a little longer now! But I will definitely have some more up on the channel soon for you! The next one will be some tea roses!

    What is the finished size of the peony? I downloaded your free template and can’t wait to work on it! Thank you so much for generously sharing your beautiful work, template, instruction! What color green and peach crepe is that? Specifically the name of the color and brand?

      Aww that's very kind of you, thanks so much! I hope you enjoy making it!
      This one is about 6" diameter, although they can vary depending how tight or loosely you attach the petals. I've also made them more like 8" diameter just by opening up the petals and attaching them a little looser, and then just adding a few extra petals, so you have some flexibility!
      The paper I'm using is from the Lia Griffith range, and it's the heavyweight crepe. For this particular flower, the colours are Honeysuckle (from the English Garden collection) and either Pistachio (from the Winter Garden collection) or Juniper (from the Botanical Garden collection). Both Pistachio and Juniper are almost identical colours, so either will work. I have links to some suppliers where you can buy them from here - tamuchlypaperblooms.com/pages/paper-flower-supplies-worldwide
      Hope that helps!

    Hi thanks for your amazing tutorials they are so great!! I just wondered on the print out for the peony there are 2 lots of option 2..but different in shape and they are also A B C is it just a choice as to which shape? Hope that makes sense!!

    • @TaMuchlyPaperBlooms
      @TaMuchlyPaperBlooms  3 года назад +1

      Hi Judith, so sorry I missed your comment before! Glad you liked the tutorials and templates. So there are 2 options, depending how easy you’d like the peony to be. The more realistic option is by using option 2 and all A, B, and C petals. You’ll want to use all 3 letters for option 2, in the quantities noted, or if you want an easier template, then stick with option 1. As you practice more you can also mix it up to get a more random/realistic looking flower too! Hope that helps, and makes sense?! Sorry again for the delay in reply, RUclips hid some comments from me! Happy flower making!!

    What is the weight on this paper? And whats the best to purchase? Thanks

    • @TaMuchlyPaperBlooms

      This one is using heavyweight German crepe, I really like to use the Lia Griffith heavyweight range although it can be hard to find depending where you are in the world. Werola also do a similar 160 range which is worth trying too. A good alternative is also the Italian 180, which is similar but does have machine lines in, and you need to take a few extra steps if you want to make it colour fast.

      Hi Leah, there is a free template you can download from my website tamuchlypaperblooms.com or the direct link is in the description. What problem are you having with the download?

    • @leaharano4951
      @leaharano4951 3 года назад

      I thought it is easy download and print like PDF file but the only template I saw is picture not a file.

    • @TaMuchlyPaperBlooms
      @TaMuchlyPaperBlooms  3 года назад

      It is a PDF file that you can download and print out. You can then cut around that to use as a template for cutting your petals. The direct link is - tamuchlypaperblooms.com/collections/templates/products/peony
      To download it -
      Choose your printer paper size (A4 or 8.5x 11”)
      Add to cart
      Checkout - the template is free and you don’t need to give card details
      A link will be shown to instantly download it
      You will also get an email with a link to download it.
      Hope that helps!

      Until at this moment I haven't found the easy click template file on this peony flower. What I did was enlarge the photo of the template and trace it in the screen.

      @TaMuchlyPaperBlooms  3 года назад

      Hi Leah, I’m unsure why you would need to do that! Can you clarify which step of the above process isn’t working? Did you add the template to your cart and then checkout?

    That does not look 14" long??

    • @TaMuchlyPaperBlooms
      @TaMuchlyPaperBlooms  8 месяцев назад

      Hi Wendy, good catch! The finished strip should be about 14", after it's stretched, I appreciate that may not have been so clear though. Don't worry too much about the exact size for the fringe though, as long as it's roughly the same there's definitely some flexibility with this part! Hope that helps!
