hi I just think it flowers r the prettiest flowers ever..when I was 12 yrs old I made carnations and I dio them in wax with perfume.i sold them all over my village I lived in.and I'm 76 yrs and I still love to make flowers.thank you for different ideas.❤
thank you so so so much for having commentary for your flower tutorials. you are so much better than those other "tutorials" where they dont say anything and just have stupid music in the background. cant wait to make these flowers
Thank you for your feedback! We do both styles but I agree. . . I prefer explaining as I go. I have so much to say. LOL!! We are working to do all of our videos this style.
This video came up in my feed and once it started to run, I couldn't take my eyes off this project! Your peonies are so realistic & beautiful. Thank you for your work, feels like you're right there teaching me personally
So happy to see your crepe paper and tools available now in Australia at Spotlight!! Have bought my first pack of heavy crepe paper (English Garden) and will give these a try.
Yes you can! If using craft glue instead of hot glue, it is good to keep in mind that the drying time takes quite a bit longer. I would suggest allowing the flower to dry hanging upside down so that it holds it’s shape.
Hi Lia. My flowers are looking great - thanks to you! In the book/ templates, there is a circular template to cover the ball not an oval - should it be oval?
Wonderful! We are constantly upgrading our templates so I can see why there may be confusion. Either shape will work fine for the center, in my newer templates I have been using the oval since it has a bit more surface area to cover.
You can find all our templates and projects at our site www.liagriffith.com by becoming a member. We also have an online one-stop-shop www.feltpaperscissors.com for all your paper flower making needs! You will find tools, materials and starter kits for beginners! 😊
As a small business, we are so pleased to now be able to offer international shipping. We are using USPS Priority International, as we understand that this gives a fast service, but should also remove any duties and taxes that may be otherwise imposed. The cost is based on a weight and destination calculation. We will be steadily increasing the number of countries that we are able to ship to this year. In the meantime have you checked out the global shipping options with Amazon UK? This can be a great solution too. Look for the logo “Global Store” on the product: www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=Lia+Griffith&ref=nb_sb_noss
I like watching the video tutorials, because they show clearly all the different steps. I sometimes have a hard time visualizing some of the printed instructions in your book. So I find it extremely helpful to be able to actually see how you meant for any given step to be done. Because unfortunately for us Muggles, the pictures don't move in our books.
Purtroppo non parlo inglese ma sono ammirata dai tuoi stupendi fiori. Che carta crespa usi, da quanti grammi e come fai i gambi? Thank you! Hai delle mani ed un gusto meravigliosi!
We use our Lia Griffith brand paper! Our extra fine crepe paper is equivalent to 60 grams. Our heavy floristic crepe paper is equivalent to 160 grams and 250% stretch.
@@Liagriffithx Ok Sorry, I'm not speaking English and I have to translate to be able to comment on. Thank you very much for answering me as fast and congratulations for the beautiful work you do 😍😍😍😍 how can I get the employer? I could send it by mail?
Unfortunately I bought crepe paper from a discount shop & the paper was thin & had no stretch, so I wasted my time cutting out the patterns. Just be sure that the crepe paper has the ability to stretch!
You have the BEST crepe paper on the planet!!! Please Lia ....do some more kits. Thank you
Thank you! Kits are in our future! We need a larger team to keep up. lol

Looking sooooo beautiful. I like it👍❤
I love them! Thank you!
For how long we can save these flowers?
I need to ask you something please do I have to paste wax on the crepe paper for mt flower to last a long time
No. I do not use wax.
Is it necessary to use hot glue or is it okay to use a normal glue like Elmer's glue?
We now use a white glue called Bearly Art. However, if you are working with heave crepe paper, you will want to have a hot glue gun on hand.
Hola soy nueva en tu canal el ramo de flores te an quedado muy hermosa gracias por compartir bendiciones
Thanks
Great teacher coming from a former teacher.
I absolutely love your tutorials. Would it be possible to use craft glue instead of glue on this project?
Yes you can! If using craft glue instead of hot glue, it is good to keep in mind that the drying time takes quite a bit longer. I would suggest allowing the flower to dry hanging upside down so that it holds it’s shape.
Lia, for the workshop in Porland, we need to have a Cricut Maker Machine? Cricut Explore Machine do not cut the crepe paper?
Thank you for this video, I am making these to put in my wedding bouquet! Do you mind sharing which paint you used for the tips in the center?
Fantastica!☺
Muy bellas 😊🌷
How much mg is heavy crepe paper?
It is similar to 180 grams
Hermosas flores 💐 lamentablemente no pone las medidas de cada pétalo.
Las personas necesitamos saber cuantos cm mide cada parte de la flor .Gracias.

Can you put the gold paint first before you cut them ? After the stretch ?
Thank you very much !!!
Thank you Lia !
You can but I like to do it after since it creates a bit of a paint "ball" at the end.
