Nice video as usual Mel G. Squirrels will always want nuts over fruit, so in this instance when they smell nuts on your fingers and hands, I don't think they would choose a grape. I have only had our squirrels take grapes a few times and it was in the heat of summers. I do have squirrels that love avocados. Looking forward to putting out some for them on Cinco de Mayo! I'll bet if they just took one bite of the grape, they'd love it - especially in late July / August. Actually, the little one came close to biting it. I wonder if the soft/squishiness of it reminded them of a rotten walnut? -- I do believe the chipmunk has wings. Can't see 'em, but he sure took flight!

They would probably eat them if I left them there. When I am there they expect nuts lol but I’m sure they would eat them if I left them out there. I don’t leave food out there when I’m not there to keep hawks from seeing too many animals constantly gathering where I feed them.
My angels prefer nuts much more highly.... but they aren't as snobby to the grape as yours lol xo. My angels go more for the green grapes.. what's your spoiled angel's name? 😇🐿xo

I know right, my squirrels eat green grapes too! And strawberries especially in the summer time (also sometimes in the spring)
