Elon Musk's greatest lifetime achievement will be slightly humanizing Mark Zuckerberg.
And being worth hundreds of billions more than you

The new Elizabeth Line, a fantastic upgrade to London's underground network, each train carries 1500 people. Arrive every 10 min max. Took 11 years to complete. Worth the wait.
London gets infrastructure megaprojects. The North gets empty promises and lies.
But then I have to stand next to the dirty poors! I am paranaturally compelled to try all rail lines built near me, and I am allergic to poverty!
@@fluidthought42English trains are waaaay too expensive for the poors. A yearly ticket from Reading to London will cost you over 4000£.

Musk only repaying $2000 as compensation for cancelling a $16000 pie order is hardly a fair deal for the small business bakery. It's shameful

I watch your show almost everyday. I am an oilfield worker for over 10 years in the United States. If are work sites had as many safety hazards and say I safety violations, our job site would have been shut down or probably run off location and replaced with a different company. I would venture to say working in the oilfield is safer than that tunnel under Vegas
But ELON is such a warrior for free speech, we should totally just ignore the grave dangers that could cause workers severe bodily harm in his factories and on his work sites.
Because freeze peach* is so much more important that us, the little people, keeping our lives.
*Freeze peach reserved for rightwingers only. Terms and conditions definitely apply
Yep, he gets away with doing some really dumb shit. I love his idiot fans praising him for flying thousands of tons of fuel around in a half baked rocket that can barely get into the air without explodiing. It's a major disaster waiting for a place to happen.
Never worked an oilfield, but I've worked at a refinery. I wouldn't say it's this bad, but I feel like every refinery has a few million in the budget for settling the deaths of a couple of workers.
Yep, and in honesty, your oilfield safety regs are far lower than up here in Canada. I know OH&S guys who would have straight up heart attacks walking through that tunnel dig with caustic chemicals pouring into workers' wellies.
@@JukeBoxHeadgrotesque, isn't it? The bridge that was built connecting PEI to mainland Canada had 7 or 8 worker deaths factored into the project's plan. The number was beaten by 1, but the thought that they could go ahead while presuming people will die building it is incredible.
How did anyone, ever think that digging tunnels was some high-tech futuristic solution to anything?
These people fell for a traveling snake oil salesman. If you look at the idea logically it is a fallacy on the highest caliber. People are and were brainwashed behind this garbage
BECAUSE MUSK!11!1!11
You obviously haven’t seen the LED lights.

Every time someone brings up the Vegas "loop", I'm thinking about Copenhagen autonomous subway system - a whole system of underground trains, a couple of lines, lots of stations and it somehow works without any human driver. Yet, Tesla is still considered to have the most advanced self-driving technology XD
the Copenhagen Metro is a metro system with 39 stations, of which 25 are underground, 1 is buried open and 13 are above ground.
with a trolley that comes approximately every 5 minutes....
Or London, where are tiny roads (they even had to shoot some of the London car case in Chicago for transformers 5 because shooting two cars is impossible in most London streets) meant for the last 100 years we have had a vast network of underground and overground networks that come every 5 minutes, and max 30 minutes for some trains.
Who said that? All the rankings put Tesla in the last position when it comes to Self-Driving, GM, Mercedes, BMW, etc have better systems, at least Level 3. Tesla is considered by Musk and his idiot cult followers to have the best technology. Tesla XD is barely level 2 driving assistance. Toyota and Nissan give it for free and idiots Tesla customers pay 15k to purchase a death trap.
The Copenhagen Metro also opened in like 2005.
Pretty sure I read recently that Audi and Hyundai/Genesis are both ahead of Tesla's misleadingly named "full self driving" - I think Tesla is considered level 2 or 2.5 by industry experts, whilst Audi and Hyundai are "level 3" - unfortunately Tesla's utter lack of ethics when it comes to honest marketing makes people think they are industry leaders when they are not. Interestingly I believe the article also stated most experts think level 4 self driving is still many years away, and full autonomous self driving, level 5 - may never be possible, or at least will require massive leaps forward in technology.
Imagine the EV fires in those tunnels.
A court wanting my browser history is my worst nightmare.
i dont get it, cant he just delete it? are they going to forensic all of his devices just for this?
Evidence of deleting it would make it even worse for him legally@@ellnino
The number of times he has fallen for 'pussy in bio' alone...
@@kevinthayer9867 You can set your browser history to delete automatically, but depending on the browser he uses there might still be a record. It would likely be Elden Ring build guides and googling words to check the spelling.
So the ISP can generally track everything he does regardless of him deleting his browser history, and his IP address would also be trackable. And that's all before a proper forensic scrub of his devices to find anything else.
So if all of his internet history is suddenly gone, but those other methods verify his history, then he can be accused of trying to hide evidence, obstruct justice, interference with an ongoing investigation, etc. etc., each of which is a separate charge.
I would hate to see the lives that might be lost, but imagine a Tesla battery catching fire in the tunnel, no emergency exit in sight, and smoke chasing after you.
Plus the eventual funnled explosion
Worth pointing out that it wouldn't be just the regular gas smoke, it would be Lithium Vapours
Sounds like a Final Destination movie premonition.

It took me a minute before I caught on that when they referenced the Boring Company, that it's the name of the company because they are a deep digging company, and not because they think the company is so boring the can't even be bothered to call it by it's name.

The really funny part about hearing that Twitter can't ban blatant bots is that MY Twitter account was banned for being a bot when I never even use it. I don't even think I'd ever tweeted anything, and if I did I hadn't tweeted anything in years by the time it was banned because their "systems that find and remove automated spam X accounts flagged mine by mistake which can happen if an account exhibits automated behavior in violation of their rules." When, again, I hadn't tweeted anything in years.
That's what happens when you fire 95% of your technical staff. You end up with the least competent, those who can't easily find another job.
Is it possible you got hacked?

That wouldn't be a fight. Mark has lizard powers and martial arts experience. I say it would go like the fight between Cartman and Wendy from south park.

I feel like if multiple companies you own consistently and routinely violate safety laws and regulations there should be way more consequences than a fine that equates to a traffic ticket considering the worth of these companies.
Double standards.
That's part of what a company is for. The company takes responsibility as a legal entity, shielding the individuals who actually made the decision.
I think there should be consequenses for the executives and board members. Perhaps they lose the right to sit on any company board or positions of trust and on severe cases there should be jail time for those leaders. Like if your company has broken environmental protection laws repeatedly then the ceo should be banned for ever be ceo on any company ever again. Or worker protection law, or hiring illegal immigrants... Like it should be law that they cannot plea ignorance on the unlawful things done in the company.
Tunnelling on the London underground which also runs 24 a day creates around three and a half miles of tunnel a year lol also the channel tunnel was COMPLEATED in 6 years and runs at 42 miles and goes UNDER the English channel but they did dig from both ends.
Yeah, but Space Karen will do it better. So there.
@@retiredbore378 lol
Yeah. but to most Americans (who rarely if ever use a train) a tunnel is quite a novelty so they think Musk is some kind of genius who invented them himself.
Above ground real estate is taken so it's either above ground or below for transport today.
@@WindTurbineSyndrome Where I live the space above any real estate also belongs to it, at least up to several hundred metres (it's vague) and certainly with regard to any fixtures. Not the earth below though, except for any mineral rights. So Musk would have to pay for (or lease) land under his raised Hyperloop tubes, a cost he neglects in his BS _"H-L White Paper"._
Been there done that, I have this t-shirt from working in underground infrastructure projects. You don't notice discomfort while it's happening. The worst, is you get damp all over, and the elastic waistband of your underwear eats a burn ring into you around your waist. Very bad, for about the next week. No reason for this crap nowdays. This stuff can be neutralized, or even easier is diluting it and pumping it away from workers. We even used to send guys up to shower and change clothes when exposing them to "too" much for short periods was unavoidable.
Anyone knows that wet cement on skin will give you a chemical burn 😂 😂

It’s so strange that the tesla hole under the convention center isn’t all running on that self driving software. It’s the most controlled environment I can think of: if they’re not willing to run it in there, why is it ok to do it in uncontrolled, packed, busy streets?
The cars can handle the driving autonomously, it's the interface with humans at the stations they can't handle. They blame local rules for insisting on drivers but simply not true.
@@davidsalisbury50the drivers don't speak to you. In some of the cars theyve been blocked off by custom internals. The only interfacing is done by other employees.
And the NYT spoke to employees of both the centre and the boring company who said that the "self driving" technology was never considered for safety concerns.
However that may be related to rumours that the cars are altered in some way because of safety concerns, which may include removal of some features.
I'm from Vegas and we didn't need a new transportation system on the strip. The monorail was a waste of money. The only people who drive the strip are people that wanna look at the lights and watch some shows from the safety (and air conditioning) of their vehicle. The strip is SUPER walkable, I know it seems like a long stretch but it isn't really that bad. There are multiple choke points on the i15 and 215 that suck but even then, you can get from one end of Vegas to the other in about 45 min if you take surface streets. Plus the CAT system (bus system) isn't actually that bad.
Considering you are SUPPOSED to give your money to the 'squeaky clean' casinos, why make anyone pay for transportation ..., even if they own all the transportation ..., or get 'their cut' ...
didn't have Neo-Nazi vs Neo-Fascist brawl on my 2024 bingo card

110 years ago, suing mostly hand power, they dug six tunnels for Penn Station in NYC. They managed 300 feet a day in muck under the rivers.

I'm starting to think this Elon guy isn't really an inventor and is more of a salesman.
He's an investor and a marketer, specializing in marketing himself and his specific brand of futurism. This strategy has been very successful so far, but when his image takes a hit it directly affects the value of his companies. Tesla's stock price is extremely overvalued in proportion to it's automotive market share, it's this inflated because of the perception that the CEO is some kind of genius techno Jesus. It's very likely everything will collapse at some point, Elon probably knows this as he's been milking Tesla with crazy bonuses and selling as much stock as he can while retaining control.
Flying cars here we go! 😂
