I've heard the 300 PRC has significant advantages but I just wanted to tick the .338 Lapua box haha. I'd like to get a 300 PRC built out sooner than later. And as far as the brake, I just wanted to make sure I could use my suppressor for when I get it and there is no bigger brake with the 90T mount. The recoil really isn't bad at all with this configuration though. I'm curious to see what it's like suppressed.

But I don't want to spend the money to find out I chose unwisely. Especially when it's pulling the trigger is between 6 and $7 a pull. It's not like shooting a 223? At all?
Can anyone provide me with empiric evidence of the comparative testing of the various .338 calibres? My personal preference is the .338 RUM, but I have no data. It seems most think there is only the la peur
Damn...I wish it were only $4.50/round still. I was at TGE the other day and they had Hornady Match 338 going for $145/box🤦🏻♂️
On Saturday the 22nd, the temperature on my car read 117F in a parking lot. With >80% humidity on average; It's no joke. Good shooting, boss.
Rifle weight without accessories?
I do the same thing on my phone! I thought i was a weirdo, lol
Cool gun but why does it have Walmart shelving on it?
I've got a 338 Lapua Magnum MDT LSS XL chasse and I've got a supressor on it to and a Harris by pod on it my 338LM was made by savage and it was ordered to come altogether only thing it didn't come with was the can and the by pod and the scope
I love it when you get your bad shooting excuses in before you show your shots, lol
Great video! You make look so easy! Any ideas on the 300 PRC instead of the 338? Did you consider changing the brake with a larger one for more recoil mitigation?
I've heard the 300 PRC has significant advantages but I just wanted to tick the .338 Lapua box haha. I'd like to get a 300 PRC built out sooner than later. And as far as the brake, I just wanted to make sure I could use my suppressor for when I get it and there is no bigger brake with the 90T mount. The recoil really isn't bad at all with this configuration though. I'm curious to see what it's like suppressed.
I too have always wanted to build a 338. If you don’t mind me asking and you can always inbox me roughly how much is the average you can spend on a nice build.
If you hear the report of that rifle..........you weren't the target.........Ever hear a 338 coming thru a window at 2 miles? Nobody does............hehehe
Would’ve been nice to have an Ammo sponsor for this video’! Dang! Awesome!!!!
flavio castro this guy 😂 why, at $4.50 a round does it matter? Not like you have it.... or is there an option for ammo on COD?
9:00 dang its hotter than in sauna, assuming we all used metric system but no 🤭
regards from finland where its -27c atm or -16f :D
all this triggers you can buy are just such a SCAM, a real gunsmith can adjust 80% of the times a trigger down to 300g or less with the stock one
Taking the rifle out of the case I noticed you don't have it turned to protect the scope i.e. scope on the same side as the handle....what are you protecting by doing this if not your scope. I assume it's pretty expensive...
Your awesome fun to watch I’m thinking about getting my gun license then take a 338 Lappula and my hunting license as well
My god, what a masterpiece. I bow to you’re ownership!
Do you know how long is the forend (Key Mod rail) from recoil lug? Roughly of course. Thanks.
i'm sad that i'm no american, to shoot beautiful rifle's like this one, i would have this one in my collection off long rang rifle's? awesome video
My Lapua magnum savage was a costum build and it came right out of the box I was so darn lucky
Why do you disturb your move rifle before adjusting your scope? Won’t it alter your shooting angle and negate your wind age?
Nice, I want one.
What did that set you back ?
How far are you shooting the 6.5cm ?
Love the 338. Hate that CCC closed. Don't know where to shoot my 338 since it closed, recomendations?
338 lapua mag shooting over a mile? 🤔is this the new Chris Kyle
Love that legend
Sweet build Brandon. I finally was able to pick up a Christensen Arms ELR .338 LM with the carbon fiber wrapped stainless steel barrel. Can't wait to take it out at 1000yds and beyond :)
I'm in Fort Worth, Love going out to Triple C. Great place for lone range..
I still rather shoot long rang with a 50 Cal BMG.. When you just wanna reach out and disintegrate someone Long distance
Is it more effective? Sorry im a gun noob! I just know the 50 calibre is larger but they both can shoot over a mile. Which is more practical or lethal?
@@lunapetunia3778 BMG goes BOOM, I rather have it
*homeland security binoculars zoom in from a distance as your FBI agents gaze intensifies* 👀 🇺🇸
You gonna love the price of that ammo.
@Micheal Miles I heard 50BMG was cheaper to shoot per round. Price of gun verses price per round?
@@mattc3368 As far as price goes the 50 BMG and 338 lapua aren't that far apart depends on where you get it but I would probably invest in reloading if you choose 338 I would do it one at a time In other words checking every step on each and every round to ensure accuracy and safety. Remember these rounds can produce the same amount of energy at 100 yd downrange than a 30 ought 6 does at the muzzle.
@@michaelmiles6398 Thanks that was very helpful Both the 338 Lapua and 50BMG are 2 rifles im interested in buying someday. Thanks again
@@mattc3368 Barrett makes rifles in both of those calibers but there again you're talking a whole lot of money they are not cheap by any means. The XM109 and the MRAD and their variants. $$$$$$
Michael Miles I don’t think your gonna find any 50 bmg rifle for cheap
