Only came across your channel today. To be honest when I first heard about the concept, I thought it would just be somebody soulessly scrolling through a list on MAME or something, but it's clear the passion you have and the effort you're putting in. Absolutely love the fact you've done research on every game, with the box art and info before you dive in, the interface you've created (it looks like the kind of thing you'd see in Atari 50 or something!) and the running tallies you're keeping of the number of games you've played in a certain genre/on a certain system etc. My sweet spot will be the 1990s, but at least until you get there, you're certainly making the 1980s an easy watch from what I've seen so far. Keep it up :)

Really great to hear! I'm not sure if we will ever see the 1990s... Thanks so much for the great comment!

That Aztec Challenge looks like an awesome game! And it was programmed by a 17 year old! WOW!

I missed many videos from 1981 and prior. Do sidescrollers without autoscroll exist yet?

Scrolling platformers without auto-scroll do not exist yet! While we are playing I talk about what does exist for Platformers. This game could have inspired Pac-Land or Super Mario Bros.!

@@chronologicallygaming It's really amusing imagining that this game, that fell into obscurity once its sequel/remake got released, could potentially be the inspiration of one of the most influential game genres of all time. Most probably it wasn't because all the ingredients where already laid out, but I want to believe.
