I do like leather seats a lot, but our jeep came with cloth and it is funny that if you take care of cloth (and no little kids 😂), 10 years later, I can look brand new. Leather seems to almost always wear and crinkle. I have an older BMW, though that they made the leather out of super thick hide and it’s amazingly tough and doesn’t wrinkle much.
It would appear that your head rest were installed facing backwards. You can't go wrong with Katzkin, I have installed more than a few kits over the years and they all have all held up well. Make sure you follow katzkin care instructions.
Katzkin claims to be better quality than OEM so yeah, I had it for 5 years now and conditioned once so far.. it looks more or less as good as when I got them. Did my own install.
leather seat is nice, just too expensive, I install universal leather seat cover for my 2014 Honda accord coupe that came with cloth seat, I like it, only costed $155 include tax, only two front seats
@@briandarlage9815 did you have the premium plus model with heated and ventilated seats? I’m finding my seats to be a bit stiff/hard and in need of a bit more cushion. How are the Katzkins in comparison?
I did this last winter in my F250, cost me $940 with 2 heated seat kits for a crew cab. It’s far superior to factory leather, at least to Fords and GMCs. To each their own but I do t think that’s at all expensive all things considered
It looks good and is almost impossible to tell the difference. It doesn't show as much wear as the leather, but that almost looks too good. I don't think going full leather would've made much of a wear or visual difference, but it probably would've smelled like more potent leather which could be nice depending on what you're going for.
@ A year ago it was $3K. Then they had someone in the Wenatchee valley, WA that wanted to charge me $2K to install it professionally. It’s $2500 to have Katzkin make Lava Red leather seat covers for my 23 Tacoma TRD double cab.
@@Doc1855 That's crazy, I just purchased a set for my 2024 GMC 2500HD and it was $1995 total and that includes installation. I created a two tone set with perforated leather and contrasting stitching. There was a $200 discount that got the price to $1995.

My install is scheduled for the 9th of February. I’m excited! I decided on Red leather 😍

Mind if I ask around how much? And how are you liking them? Thx

The seats look ok, but the siding and garage door on your house look excellent. Do you remember what the style of that siding is called?
Pillerman's
Do they offer an insert for the door cards? Would provide a more finished look.
They did provide me leather for doors and any other area the installer plans to modify
Condition your leather and protect your investment. It's super cheap for a bottle of bick#4.

Thank you for sharing this. Good job! I need to figure out something for my Jeep. They are beautiful.
