ArchiCAD15 - How to create a new WALL type

Creating a custom wall type is easy with ArchiCAD. In this video we will create a green custom wall of 10-cmu and 2- gyp and place it as a FAVORITE

That comment about 'how did i not know this sooner, it's so easy' is because ArchiCAD is not an intuitive program, and that is coming from a person who's spent a decade self-teaching archiCAD and Revit in various offices. ArchiCAD models may be flexible for visuals, but when it comes to technical accuracy and documentation, Revit flows way better and organizes way easier. Thanks for the videos, it's making my student's lives much easier!

This method works great however the wall I made needed to be 122mm thick (20 plaster 90 stud/insulation and 12 plaster) and now my windows and walls don't fit in them for some reason they're too thick for the wall in plan?

I made a custom wall and put it as an new object. But now i cant put any door or windows in it??
