I don't know much about other anglers but 6:05 just solidified the type of person you are. You have 20 minutes left to try and catch a big one but instead you let your co-angler try and add to his day. That is awesome. In such a competitive sport that comes down to ounces, you definitely don't see that every day. Moments like that, your co-angler will never forget. Many blessings to you Scott Martin.

Still my favorite Scott Martin video. This video got me involved with bass fishing and helped me find my love for the sport again. Miss Brandon on the videos, times are crazy, but I always come back to watch this every now and then, just to keep me motivated.

I've heard so many people talk about how Scott had it easy because of his Dad. Sure I'm sure he had some doors open for him because of his Dad but the man still has to catch fish. He is a great fisherman and an even better person. I've met him twice and he has always taken a couple minutes to talk, take a pic etc. and a lot of the pro fisherman think they are rockstars and never have time for a fan. Reading the comments and I agree with them all but want to add Scott's patience and time he spends with fans that show up at daybreak to wish him luck especially the little ones that will always remember the time they got to sit in his boat or gave him a fist bump.,.little things that could have such a positive impact on their lives
I believe in take a kid fishing and how fishing can influence kids when they start becoming adults, responsibility and keeps them away from bad influences, gang pressures and they keep the blessing going.

It's never wrong to ask questions about God or prayer. Heck, we all have questions. Your questions however, seemed more preloaded than just "questions". To answer your questions...1.).No, I'd never quit believing because unanswered prayers are sometimes a blessing in disguise. 2.) Nobody's prayers are worth more than others. It's just the Lord chooses the moment that you are to be blessed. Sometimes, life in general is a blessing and we should all be thankful for that life.

It's and honor to have met you a few years ago when a FLW came to Lake Hartwell, you really sparked my interest in tournament fishing and now I'm fishing tournaments and I just recently fished a state tournament and placed 26 for the middle school division and thanks for hooking me your a person I look up to and hopefully one day I can make it to where you are. I know you get a lot of crazy comments on here because I scroll through some of them. This is straight up, These vids are cool for a lot of reasons, this set from Cumberland may be some of the best vids so far, I’ll tell ya what’s great about this, there’s many things but for me as a fisherman, watching your approach using google earth to do your homework before and during to find places that in theory should hold fish, finding those rocky points with all that structure. that first day, man that paid off with that 19lbs. Great day. Then when that bite fell off you changed it up and weren’t afraid to fish new water. Versatility. Not forcing anything. The story tells the tale of the path to a great win. Great Job Scott.
