Having fun on my Birthday building a Monster Truck. The TXT1 is TAMIYA EXTREME TRUCK. Everything on this build is extreme. A fantastic kit from the 2000's.
Vary Happy Birthday Rick! You have your hand and bench full with that one!! That thing is Ginormous!!! Enjoy the build my friend, I am sure it is a great one!
Have a great birthday and all the best. I have just rebuilt my txt 1 its a 1 owner from new in box also. The txt 1 is tamiyas greatest, along with tlt. Nothing better ,nothing close. 550 motors ,steel pinions, 14.4volts and 10000 mah nimh batteries. The esc is a super heavy duty novak from the time of jesus. Have fun.
Use them slipping tyres as a clutch it needs them. I would not glue them you need some slip. If you need to stop them slipping use 4 little dabs of blue tac per tyre.@@EMPTYPOCKETSRC
Not sure what happened to my reply lol but use the slipping tyres as a clutch or use 4 dabs of blue tac per tyre if you need to stop slipping.@@EMPTYPOCKETSRC
Just forward and back to test...up and over my shoes....nothing hard and they were slipping pretty good. You method sounds like the answer, I would hate to glue them. Hard to find another set.
