Revisiting this and hearing Matt say "boatylicious" just astral projected me back to the E3 Recap videos he used to do.
Couple of corrections - Zeus - The God of Cat's in Hats. Athena the God of Posters. Poseidon God of Bad Disaster movies, Apollo God of moon landings, apart from that great review!
Lovely to rewatch. I'm surprised they allowed themselves to throw the pieces in the box at the end, but it does lend to the joke.

I love Cyclades. I got Hades and love the addition of Hades and the Necropolis, but have never gotten around to the Heroes or magic items/priestesses, etc. I'll consider Titans though!

I encourage everyone that like team play to play SW:Rebelion with 4 players, it is epic. There is a criticism towards to this variant but mostly from people that never tried it.
I'd love to see you guys review Lords of Hellas to see how it stands against Kemet/Cyclades.
The reversed direction on the credits at the end freaks me out. Why does it weird me out so much?

Loved this video, as always. Two queries regarding the rules in the original Cyclades if anyone can help. When you invade a territory, buildings are not destroyed. What about additional food markers, do they get taken off or stay on? Also if you get outbid on the gods track, can you then outbid someone else or do you have to move to a vacant track?

I totally agree the Cyclades franchise is amazing. The one thing about Titans im not sure i like is the new artifacts. They really are extremely powerful and whoever gets one seems to increase their chances of winning by a huge margin. Maybe my group and i are just inexperienced but whenever someone managed to grab an artifact they ended up winning the game at some point. Not sure how to counter this.

Played Titans with two other Cyclades fans, and I'd say Titans doesn't really work with three players. Since only two gods are available each turn, any time Kronos is at the top of the order only one building gets built, and any time he's second, only one *type* gets built, which slows down construction of metropolises. Still, love the map and the Titans and the artifacts. Can't wait to try with four or five players.

How is this game for two players?
Does it solve the flat ending of the base game? The second metropolis immediately ends the game.
I like hades because you can incorporate heroes and monsters super easy without really changing anything. The other stuff you can add just to change things up a little.

There are some odd ducks: The Dark Knight is better than Batman Begins, Terminator 2 is better than the first one etc. Late to the party I know but I am so tempted to pull the trigger on Cyclades and watching reviews. 😂

I should have checked the date in the lower part of the description. Still, I wonder if after the passage of many months they still feel the same about Inis.

This is an old comment, but my brother and I played the team version controlling two armies each and quite liked it.

It's a great game with and a great game without Titans. It's a great expansion that changes the gameplay dramatically. I think it's worth trying both ways.
